Marathon Results from the Finale XCM World Cup 2023
After the first round at Nove Mesto riders took on the 100km course around the Finale Outdoor Region. After taking on the huge course with 4000m of climbing Diego Alfonso Arias Cuervo and Adelheid Morath go home with the top honours.

Both mens & womens winners were in the mid to late 30's. 3 competitors in their 40's in each field too. Love to see that these older athletes are still competitive. Don't stop till the fun stops!

I think mid 30's is where peak performance is for endurance athletes. Could be wrong, but I vaguely remember seeing something about that.

Open the Elite World Cup to everyone with a UCI license instead of starting a separate Marathon 5 min later that nobody cares about. The womens field has maybe 5-10 of the Top 50 Marathon riders in the World. Maybe the schedule isn't great for Pro's.
