Results: Elite Finals at the 2026 La Thuile DH World Cup
@clivem25: the irony is that I actually paid for Eurosport coverage back when they moved away from RedBull, but they got greedy and now want me to pay for a fucking MAX subscription just to watch a couple of DH cups. Not gonna happen.

this last iteration of SC bikes looks absolutely HIDEOUS, the last nice bikes from them were Bronson V4, Hightower V3, Nomad V6 etc, where the bottom wasn't stretched out like it is now... I'm not gonna spend this kind of money for an ugly bike. HD6 looks way better.

Why Arc’teryx Thinks It Can Outperform Established MTB Brands
Mammut is actually pretty cheap. Only their Eiger Extreme series are priced higher, being their flagship line.

At least Ortovox still makes their gear in Europe, not Bangladesh.

If you need waterproof apparel, you'll be miserable anyway. GoreTex is OK for standing around in rain, and that's about it. If you actually want to move, you'll have to open every damn zipper because the crap can't keep up even with a light activity. Not to mention the fact, that all "breathable" waterproof fabrics only breathe when it's NOT actually raining. In a proper heavy rain, the outer fabric WILL wet out and that fancy $600 jacket turns into a $5 plastic bag.
