@everythingsucks: 1% is significant for anyone who is racing. It's almost 1 minute over an hour and a half, which is a pretty standard xc race length.

Junior Downhill World Cup Finals Will No Longer be Streamed on YouTube
They haven't had the juniors so far so I doubt it.
As somebody said above, if I have to pirate for some of it (when I have a subscription) then what's the point, might as well pirate it all.

@rambotion2: you think they are using them without any data to prove that they go faster with them on your bike?
I think you are on crack of you truly believe that. The amount of resources that go into seeing up a dh bike at the top level, there is no way they are holding these things on for a race run without knowing that it does help.

@peytodog: continental championships is a thing as well, I know Europe has one, but the top guys never seen to show for that, and quite a few of the best Oceania had to offer weren't here for this either.

The course was wet in the morning and just got drier as seeding and race happened. U19 and elite had very similar conditions for their race runs

@scott-townes: not sure a strike is the correct way to go about it, but idk what the best thing for them to do is. I just hope that the contracts don't start drying up, much like (I assume, I could be wrong) the viewership is going to.

The poor riders. Having the sport that they make their living at absolutely gutted. I truely hope that something changes in the not too distant future.
I paid for gcn+ last year, and I would buy it again for that price, but I'm not going to spend double that even if I could (I'm in NZ)

World Cup Racing Coming to Max as $9.99 Add-On in 2024
I really feel for the racers, eyes on the sport are going to drop even more than they did last year, sponsorship is going to be harder to get.
I paid for a year of gcn+ and felt like it was an ok deal, now there isn't even a service available to me as far as I know, and if there was it's likely to cost significantly more.
I doubt I'll be watching next year.
