Champery World Cup Course Preview

There is only one thing that needs to be repeated for Champery. The course is STEEP. We aren't talking World Cup steep, we are talking rappelling gear may come in handy for walking it steep. There are corners that are so steep you can jump into the next switchback down...and it's actually a legitimate line choice.

Check out below for some photos while walking with the boys from Monster Energy / Specialized. Video to come!The track here is steep. Real steep. If that wasn't enough, the track designers have decided to litter the course with jumps and drops, you know, just to keep things interesting. Rain is predicted for tomorrow, and then it is supposed to clear up, for the weekend. This is a good thing, as the course is dusty and dry and could use the moisture.

The schedule here is a bit odd due to XC. There is no 4x, and the downhill race is on Saturday.

 I cant wait to watch it now, these pics do alot more justice to the gradient than the Dirt Mag pics that i was looking at earlier. Theres gonna be some gnarly falls this weekend id say. I cant wait to see what Rob Warner has to say on Race day! lol
And the 2011 Demo looks sick as hell, paint scheme is really nice but subtle, i still hate those black stanction tubes though!haha

 look on the freecaster website, it shows a countdown of how long till it goes live.

 hill posted this last friday on his blog "its time to get back home and get some rehab on my shoulder. I really want to get back healthy so I can be on my bike again". unless someone more in the know can shed some light on this we'll have to wait but it sounds unlikely, he also stated he was seeing a specialist this week.

 Was over at the track two weeks ago but couldn't ride it due to barb wire and fences all over the place and believe it or not it's even steeper than it looks in the pictures!
