Red Bull Rampage Full Rider List Announced - News
How hard is it to get Brendan's name right? So far at this event he's been Brandon, Fairclaw & Brendon, not like he's one of the biggest names in mtb or anything, must just drink the wrong poison.

Aaron Gwin's Absolutely Incredible Finals Run: Mont-Sainte-Anne DH World Cup 2017 - Video
@powderturns: world champs is everyone on their A game, end of the season so no race next week to worry about being injured for, no playing it safe and totting up the numbers, fastest on the day from A to B, a true test of the fastest racers, the fact you can win a world cup series without winning a single race makes the champs the premier event. Rob's a top guy but ask the racers who've won both which means more...

Will a 29er End Up On a World Cup DH Podium This Year? - Pinkbike Poll
A few people perhaps not quite getting the point, when suspension design was improved this led to an increase in the technical challenge of DH races, same with the introduction of disc brakes, go back and look at early DH races which were essentially fast fireroad descents, people should probably learn some DH history before throwing the suspension & disc brake arguments in the mix. The biggest industry claim is that big wheels roll over obstacles better (not my claim, nor do I disagree with it however) so as tkrug states the tracks should increase in technical skill to keep up with technological advancements which would follow the path DH has always taken before of pushing riders & equipment to the limit, this is supposed the be cutting edge of mountain biking after all.

Will a 29er End Up On a World Cup DH Podium This Year? - Pinkbike Poll
My main issue with the wheel size debate is that bigger wheels smooth out the bumps and make for faster racing, great! but I want to see a riders skill tame the tracks not eradicate the technical challenge in tough rocky sections, maybe I'm too old school as some of the venue choices for WC DH recently seem to favour this balls out speed over tech skills too, if we're going bigger wheels then let's go with bigger rocks, deeper ruts and get some damn corners back into DH, oh and bring back Maribor too!

He's been with YT for years, most likely before you'd even heard of YT when it was just a small company, I think it's cool that they've stayed loyal to him regardless of if you think he can shred or not (which he can)
