ditto this. people seem to be complaining about the cost of the frame (which isn't even that outrageous in the current market), but ignoring the fact that there's an X0 T-Type build with ultimate level sus at $6600, and an eagle 90 wired build with ultimate level sus at $5600, which is almost unheard of these days.

Transition Releases New TR11 DH Bike

Entry level into the sport? I wouldn't say a DH bike would be where I'd recommend anyone to start with mtb. TR does have a lot of pretty great value builds across other models, and I'd say this is still a decent price compared to other brands. A Commencal Supreme right now with a similar spec is literally $1,300 more. Hell you can buy an alloy deore build Sentinel for $2800. The cost being ballooned is an issue with current global supply chain circumstances (tariffs) and the fact that it's DH spec because people don't buy DH bikes like they used to. I think we're all annoyed with how expensive bikes have gotten but it feels pretty clear that this isn't one of those 'do better TR' moments.
