Video: Where to Spend & Where to Save on Bike Parts
Spend your money and time ridding, then replace whatever broke. Most people spend a ton in a bike, but never in ridding like good trips, bike parks, uplift services or far places. To me,I setup my bike to tank any trail,2ply dh tires and good wheels, cos worst&easy thing is a flat,or waiting for someone flat tire to be repair. Then,no fancy parts in the wear items, just what you need to forget about it. If I must choose only 1 upgrade to my bike,a would choose a good (to my taste if needed) front tire, that´s it.

Video: We Actually Tested Our Bike From The Future - The Grim Donut Part 2
e-Donut PLZ! 29 inch rear wheel would be really cool too. I would made a crowdfund to build another bike version,a V2 bike and another e-Donut bike.

First Look: The Cassidy is Salsa's Most Aggressive Bike Yet
@conoat: it only works for some people, I ride MaxxGrip front and rear too,I´m not very hard on the rear tire and quite light . When my rear is toasted I swap the front to the rear and put a fresh tire always in the front wheel. But I saw what you told,a rear tire being eaten in 3 runs,20 bucks for a ride... Even in the Alps ridding DH, I managed to get 10 days of crazy ridding of 1 MaxxGrip tire when others have no tire in 2 days. Assegai last a little more than DHF/DHR,never try the Dissector.

Disabled Rider Calls for Empathy and Kindness After Being Challenged on Trails
@mexicant: That is sad...I have a buddy with a bad knee,he ride his e-bike everywhere like me in my non ebike, even in our nearest bike park with lift access you are allowed to ride whatever bike you wish, you only need a full face helmet to ride there (La Pinilla bikepark,Segovia,Spain). In Ainsa Zona 0 (Huesca,Spain), an EWS place, they have no rules against ebikes , it is just stupid, non ebikes are minority there. That thing of "ebikes are worst for the trails" is a nonsense, even more when your locals trails are non natural one´s or IMBA style. For the last 6 years I worked from time to time with a small company as mtb trail guide in Madrid, working with mixed groups of regular enduro bikes and ebikes,0 problems it is just the same. To me are just the same,a bike with to wheels and here (Spain) almost everybody thinks like me,we are ridding bikes.

Disabled Rider Calls for Empathy and Kindness After Being Challenged on Trails
What a dickhead...Those two get me sick,if you are wrong, just stop arguing and said sorry...If the father of that guy is watching this, plz go and slap in the face to your son, never is too late,if you are too old, 100% there is a ton of people ready to teach them.... This is one of the worst in trail action I could imagine...I trust the karma thing, that dickhead had a very bad Karma now,I wish him flat after flat tire, maybe he can learn how important is being able to walk.

First Ride: 2021 Trek Slash - Now With Snack Storage
@friendlyfoe: Giant hydroformign could be as good as it be,but for an enduro bike,a thin wall tube maybe is not the best choice. Those other brands choose a far better material to start with, like many other small bike manufacturers. So crazy hydroforming thin wall tubes are good to some bikes, but not for a burly bike IMO. Big brands made cheap aluminum bikes for the lower end range, you can´t compare a Giant frame with a Litleville or Nikolai. 20 years ago hydroforming could be a thing but now,not so much I think.

The Complete 2021 Trek Slash Lineup Compared - Across the Pond Beaver
It looks like...an ugly bike. Never liked the aesthetics of the Slash and the Session. It is very bulky and tall, even the black one looks like that. To me one of the ugliest bikes out there with the Alchemy Arktos.

First Ride: 2021 Trek Slash - Now With Snack Storage
Santa Cruz is one of the worst value for money in the overall package. I bought my Enduro at the same time another friend ordered his Megatower. We paid the same, and the bike came with very similar specs ,but the SC came stock with one use rims and cheap sram brakes . The SC bike is 2019,mine is 2020. I love how the Megatower rides even more than my Enduro hahaha. The bike is expensive, yes, but it is dam good. I never liked any Trek bikes, they are ugly and expensive.
