@jokermtb: Only 26" tires I use are for my dirt jump,last 26" DH tire I bought was long long time ago.
26x2.35 maxspeed Ikon/Michelin Pilot Pump are like 50-55 €,not very cheap tires.

@Ttimer: sharpi tire program works really good for Loic. If you can choose whatever tire you like it is a huge bonus, you can choose best tire for the track/conditions no matter the brand.
I think the Cannibal must work decent to be on the sharpie program for Loic an Finn.

@scott-townes: Anyone can have his own taste,preferences and be perfectly ok,same thing for trails/tracks. This track was cool but did not make a good race in my opinion,too risky to ride at those speeds.
Danny Hart talk about the track conditions and describes it very well with Dak in his last video.

@wyorider: I have like 4 DH Butchers in the last year,both 29 and 27.5 and never loosed a shoulder knob even at 0 psi with an insert for a good time. Not the most amazing dh casing on the market but Specialized tires are good for many riders.
They need more threat options and a touch harder carcass to be a top contender in my opinion. But for a rear tire,DH casing soft rubber and decent money is quite good.

@novajustin: I have them in black/grey logos,it is hard to see what tire is it from 2 meters away. You have both patches,the yellow one is 2€ cheaper than black/grey patch. Michelin do not make a good job with media,they are slow to release their stuff and did it quietly. But those new tires are quite good and the grey patch is almost invisible.

@jaydawg69: It is very heavy tire,like near 1,6 kg and that pattern is not very appeal to me. 2 1 2 with L shape blocks,I don´t know...
I´m doing fine in the new Michelin DH22&DH16 combo. Very good tires,huge improvement over last generation.

@novajustin: Try new DH22&DH16 Michelin. The folding carcass is way smoother than previous one,both tires had a good volume and threat pattern of the tires are spot on. The new DH 22 is likely the best pure all rounder out there for the front,same for the enduro version cos it is the same tire. Weight is good too,rubber is very sticky. To me top contender.
DH16 rolls good and breaks well,perfect for a rear tire.

@RoboDuck: I buy all my tires at bike24 ,German based online vendor. All DH tires are 50-70 € fork,nothing crazy. Conti tires are not the easiest to find stock and not half cheap,maybe a trail version with hard rubber is cheap.
A saw a pair of T9 DH Butchers for 70 bucks and they had some good deals in general.
I do not think Conti´s have the best soft rubber compound,Michelin and Maxxis works better,even Schwalbe is still a touch better. Specialized T9 is good but it is too soft,easy to fold for a DH tire,they need a better allrounder tire than the Butcher and they would sell o ton of them.

@Canadmos: Why those tires are so expensive there?is something with taxes or crazy import fees on rubber? I think those tires are made in the same place and send around the world. I do no think Maxxis Canadian market would be small with the amount of riders there,or in the US.
