@Ironchefjon: not really morbid, if they’re dead, no need for quick ID.
If they seem salvageable, it’s a simple way to quickly know exactly which sack of bones and meat is supposed to be strapped to which plastic bucket on each side of the wreck, and what type of fluid to administer.

I always thought that was for ID’ing purposes after a crash. It also contains blood type.
If that is the case, putting your mechanic on there makes no sense. He’s unlikely to be on your bike.
But to give them more praise and recognition, that would be nice. I’d like a series on pinkbike about the mechanics, like we had 10 years ago.

Unpopular opinion: I think I remember the snow dowhill races from like 2003 or something. I quite liked the format and don’t mind them organizing races that way. To make it a world championship though…
Personally, I never understood the being a world champion by winning a single specific race. In my opinion, the entire season should work up to the crowning of a world champion and being world cup winner thus has far more value.
