First Ride: Ibis Ripmo - Now With Downtube Storage & Mixed Wheel Compatibility
Yeah, I wanted to buy a Ripley, as a pretty light trail bike that climbs very well, but waited for new model... But they pushed it too much for me... Might find some V4 frame/bike instead and be happy with it...

Ibis Releases New 130mm Ripley
Hmm, currently on Epic Evo I drooled over Ripley for long, as a bit rowdier bike than EE, with some XC spirit still present for fast climbing, I don't do races anymore. But I wanted to wait for the new model... Now this seems a bit too much in trail territory for me (the same with the new Stumpy). I guess I might hunt for V4 somewhere instead... But if I went with this one the sizing would be a big question, with me being 6ft... L seems super super long (my Epic Evo has 460mm reach and with 60mm stem it's fine)

Elite XCO Results from the Les Gets XC World Cup 2024
I deserve to eat my hat as I was making fun of Flückiger’s performances and questioning his Olympics nomination, but shame on me, he is getting into the right shape! Chapeau! Swiss team looks well on track to get some MTB medals this year, let’s see whether it will be gold :)

[UPDATED] Final Elite XCO Results & Overall Standings from the Val di Sole XC World Cup 2024
What the heck, I thought they haven’t closed the nomination yet but I see they did, and picked Flückiger who is not in top-form lately… What a strange decision…

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
No mention of my favourite combination - CL hubs, adapter and 6-bolt rotors :D - it is the lightest setup, saves some grams compared to full 6-bolt or CL. I always go for this combo for each of my bikes (MTB, gravel, road)

Check Out: Heat-Shedding Rotors, a 3D-Printed Saddle, Lubricants to Winterize Your Bike, & More
I have that saddle in steel-rail version as well as carbon-rail version. One of the most comfortable saddles I have ever used… (use it on road and gravel) It’s different than classic Selle SLR Boost (have 3 of those as well, one is on my MTB) Luckily it can be found for 30-40% of RRP in Europe’s online stores, I would never pay the suggested price :) The dirt catches a bit on or better said inside the 3D structure, but a bit of water and it’s nice and clean :)

Orbea’s 2024 Rallon Gets More Travel & Slacker Geo
As mainly a road rider (and road fan), why is Purito “hated”? I haven’t really followed him after his career, seemed like an okay guy back then :) So I am just curious to hear more, hehe…
