Fox Releases 225mm Transfer Neo Wireless Dropper Post
@plyawn: Don't worry, hes done plenty of classes and spends a lot of money on our local cycling program. Everyone crashes. I've crashed many times, and I have never broke a dropper remote. To break 2 in a year is absurd and shows how fragile they are. One was on a very small bike laydown.

Fox Releases 225mm Transfer Neo Wireless Dropper Post
I have a friend that has one of these. He's crashed and broken his lever 2 times and its cost $209 each time to fix it. Its a dang fragile piece of plastic that is easy to break. This is the most useless thing to purchase on a bike with no real value.

Pinkbike Poll: Do Your Hands or Arms Hurt When You Ride?
I only get issues with my hands on the bars when I’ve done a lot of trailwork recently and gives me tingly fingers. The only thing that helps is stretching.

Durango to Host 2030 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships
Really hoping this is the kick that Purgatory needs to expand and invest in the bike park.

Burning Question: What's The Future Of E-Bike Motor Power?
@vonP: You can submit trail changes to remove e-bike classification. The admins should approve it and it gets removed.

Burning Question: What's The Future Of E-Bike Motor Power?
@NobodyCares: My main concern is conflict for a crash. An uphill e-biker is travelling faster than a mountain biker, and you can't hear them like a motorcycle making a potential crash more likely. And e-bike uphill speeds only continue to increase. One trail I ride has average downhill speeds ~15mph. I climb uphill on that at 4mph on mtb. I e-biked it once and travelled uphill at 10mph. So we have a 30% difference in conflict speed (19 v 25) on uphill vs downhill travel. Lets assume you have 50' of reaction time from sightlines, thats 1.36s compared to 1.79s reaction time. Directional trails would solve this problem. But when e-bikers openly ride trails in any direction, I don't see this going away. Or improved sightlines, but that requires more trail workers to clear the trails more. You do bring up a good point around usage. That same ride above I averaged 75% higher speeds on the e-bike. So if everyone had an ebike lets assume you'd see 75% more usage. That is much more than the 5-10% we see in growth today (maybe in mtb). I'd love to hear from the canadian folks specifically on this as they openly adopted and I wonder what type of trail impact they've seen. I have no idea really, just making the conversation. The majority of our trails around here are not open to e-bikes.
