@brianpark: I absolutely endorse the belief that a rider on a normal bike should never have to pull over or pause during a climb to let an e-biker pass. Please wait for an appropriate spot / location to pass if you're on an e-bike.
You're not being inconvenienced - if you choose to ride with electrical assistance, you can wait.

@samnation: I think the challenge is that once winter is over, people are desperate to get outside. And if the fall has beautiful weather, people will soak up as much outside time as possible. It’s just really hard to maintain steady cash flow against high overhead and convince folks to ride indoors year round.

Have you adjusted the brake levers to fit her hands? For my youngest daughter, she was a bit sketched out because the brakes were tough to engage. I adjusted the reach on the brake levers and that definitely helped with her confidence being able to stop - and with that, she could go faster and in control.

Review: SeaSucker Talon Bike Rack - Does It Suck?
It's definitely a bit nerve racking at first. What I do is stick the Talon on my front windshield where I can see the pump.
If the orange indicator starts to show - you should be able to stop in time and pump it up.
I also check it every time I stop for gas, etc.

Review: SeaSucker Talon Bike Rack - Does It Suck?
@KennyWatson: You're 100% correct! I was on a family trip overseas last year and wanted to ride as much as I could. While the Sea Sucker is definitely a bit fiddly, it works.
At the end of the day, I got to bring my own bike, save $$$$$$ on bike rental, rent smaller (ie more affordable) cars, and got a ton of rides in. It wouldn't be my choice for a daily rack at home - but for travel, it's mint.
