What happened to Jill Kintner? She got 6th on the Pro Stage, but now I don't see her name anywhere on the list.

Man, another great drone video to watch. I really love the perspective shown here. It really shows off the scale of the terrain.

Field Test: 2022 YT Capra - The Speedy All-Rounder
It could also be that since its a “middle of the road” bike, its easy to adapt to. You dont have to adjust to the long reach, a long wheelbase and/or a super slack headtube. You just get on and go.

Day 1 Randoms - Eurobike 2021
@CustardCountry: a whole 9mm! Lol. I think the change does slightly alter pedaling dynamics so it could be that the bb doesnt drop as much while seated pedaling. Id say that it was enough that i immediately reduced my pedal strikes without changing anything else. That said, I do think pedal strikes are mostly solved with technique. I dont get as many pedal strikes these days. Pedal strikes were just one part of it though. It pedaled better and turned sharper. I dont mind having the option. Theres a couple big rides near me that i want to tackle. Lots of climbing lots of descending over 60-70 miles. If i ever tackle that on yhe capra, you can bet im going to maximize my pedaling efficiency. Cheaper to adjust geo than buy a new bike.

Day 1 Randoms - Eurobike 2021
I have a flip chip on my 2018 capra 29. Ive actually gone back and forth between the two settings a few times. Going for about a year in each mode. The reason i switched was because i was having so many pedal strikes on the climbs in low mode. While high mode reduced the pedal strikes, it also pedaled better and had sharper steering. I was doing a lot more varied riding that year and the high mode was great for that. Then the next year i started riding chunkier and steeper stuff and went back to low mode. A few more pedal strikes but not terrible. Descending was a lot better though. Ive kept it that way for this year but i also increased travel front and rear to 170. Slack hta and no pedal strikes. It certainly is more work on the climbs though.
