Yes! I love this! My little bro rides one of the super early GT i-Drives- an old roommate of mine found it in a dumpster. It was dark when he found it, and in the light decided to throw it away again. I replaced a rusty chain, freewheel and chainrings, cables/housing and it was perfect! I couldn't believe that all the rubber and brake pads were fresh! Judy XC and cane creek ad-10 i think... the little bro kills it on this bike! I have even found an old Reynolds tubed Bianchi with Dura-Ace and sew ons that still held air on a city trash night too, I was just driving to my house when I see a bright red Bianchi sitting in a trash pile! People view so much as disposable these days, it's sad to see bikes discarded like that. I am always happy to ride those little forgotten machines and enjoy them like new!

Riding a fixed gear on single track combined with skiing brought me to where I had always wanted to be cornering. No handed wheel lifts and no handed slaloms on my fixed gear was a fun way to strengthen hips on my commute as well. I also noticed a huge difference after riding on lots of ice for a few years. you slide all over- but when the hips/core are strong the bike stays under you unbelievably well.

Not so sure man... The amount of errors on this site bothers me as well. I've read some articles posted here that seemed to be written by Charlie from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia".

@ CGalbreath- I'm a senior studying math and econ. People ask me what I want to do and I say paint,write and shred. Education is about bettering yourself. F--- the piece of paper at the end, its not the reason for learning.
