I can't think of an Akrigg video that I haven't enjoyed. I would love to have a fraction of his bike handling skills.

I will always love Martyn Ashton, ... . . Danny Macaskill is a bloody legend . . . . . but only Mr Akrigg can do videos that make me gasp - smile - and piss my pants laughing.

 Dat log climb!
  • 13 0
Bunny hopping over two logs on a technical uphill climb is what them bosses do. Dang! I could imagine Akrigg doing an alpine segment with those Vertriders.
  • 12 1
insane bike handling! but that crash through the tree at 2:43 made me cringe for his kashima!

 Just amazing...
Both Chris Akrigg & Danny MacAskill have attained such amazing skills, and been able to apply them to all genres of riding.

While I am proud to be able to do what I can, their skills will be legendary!

You had me at Chris Akrigg...

"...can make even a very unassuming line pretty difficult"... That line, as the idiom goes, would make an ass out of me fairly quickly. Always a fan of the Akrigg edits. Thanks.

Chris making out he's a mere mortal, when we all know that he is infact a riding God !

And does any one else own a Teocali ? Has anyone even seen one ?
  • 5 0
Can't say I've ever seen a teocali nor own one but they have got a lot better looking and actually wouldn't mind one of those!
  • 2 0
This MUST be one hell of a bike! Other wise he is Jesus Christ on a bike! He cant be that good!

 Impossibly bad-ass!

Your definitely an inspiration to the sport chris, adding that technical skill to it. Its good to see your still riding for mongoose, but its not like every other company has already got that suspension design on their line of enduro bikes....
  • 4 0
not sure what you meaning to say? he rides mongoose, i think, because its a odd/ unfashionable brand , not due to some technical feature
  • 2 0
I think what scapegoat2010 is trying to say is that Mongoose are now following other brands designs again, as this Teocali is very similar to many other bikes. The previous incarnations of this were pretty unique looking machines. nothing against Mr Akrigg.
  • 1 0
i see, a mate had the older style, was a very nice bike, that went well whilst on the pedals
  • 1 0
@djm35 Chris is amazing. An inspiration for most of us, but I was not talking about him but rather how yet another company has adapted the 4 bar suspension system into their line of bikes. The variety of unique designs is fading on smaller travel fames, but is still strongly present in the downhill lineups. The bike looks sick no doubt, but they are all starting to look the same...
  • 1 0
 scapegoat2010 I totally agree.
  • 4 0
 what a legend

He may replace all the bearings and parts with custom stuff but that made me want a Mongoose again. Surely Danny and he share at least one sponsor.
  • 2 0
the coolest way by far I have seen someone lose a bet for a beer! love is outlook on the mtb world.
  • 2 0
That fellow is THE only reason Mongoose are still selling bikes. Hope they pay him enough beer!!!

Love this type of vid man! Go on a ride and film it thats what it's all about! You see Fails and (epic actually) wins
  • 1 2
He obviously is a reverend and the makers fan, two songs now from the same album (which is killer) in his videos.

Why does he still ride mongoose they must pay him very well
