Chris King DropSet 5 Top Bearing Cap
$50 USDBrand new, unused top bearing cap for Chris King Drop Set 5 headset. This is primarily for Specialized bikes applications that have the top headset bearing recessed into the headtube. Use the Chris King site to verify fitment for your bike. I bought this and ended up needing the Drop Set 2 top cap for my bike, thus this one has not been used. $50 firm, shipped CONUS. No tax or shipping charges. Not available on the Chris King site currently.

2016 Specialized Turbo Levo vs 2026 E-Bikes: A Decade Of E-volution
After my gen 3 Levo motor got warranted, I sold it and picked up a $500 Production Privee Shan hardtail. All the old trails are fun again. Had a gen 1 Levo years ago too. Battery bricked on a software update. E-bikes are great fun, but I’m leaving the electronics to my car and phone. When something is sold by the millions, the problems seem to be better sorted.

Air spring
Rebound and compression adjustable.
Boost front axle spacing ( 15x110 ), but I have boost spacers available if you need to run non-boost ( 15x100 ) wheel.
Steer tube is about 7 3/8" ( 190mm ) long.
Comes with Cane Creek headset bearing race installed.
Brake mount is post mount for 180mm rotor.
Fork works great. Lowers have some usual scratches, upper stanchion tubes are perfect.

Appreciate his experienced, and encouraging tone. I've been an auto mechanic for 25 years and have had plenty of surly mechanics say "get out while you can". Bike mechanics present a unique opportunity for entry level / ground up learning that isn't present in other mechanical trades in the same way. The skills that can be learned and honed have application to so many other jobs / trades / careers that being a bike mechanic shouldn't be dismissed. Don't confuse knowing the nuts and bolts of a mechanic with being able to make money as a mechanic, though. That can require a different set of skills that I think Calvin got into a bit.

Suspension serviced and tuned for larger riders (I'm 250#). Fox 36, 160mm travel with latest Fox GRIP X2 damper.
If your a larger rider and looking at a carbon model, know that Specialized rates the alloy frames with a higher rider weight rating than the carbon frames.
2 batteries. Original 700 WH and 500 WH battery, both at 100% state of health. Always followed best charging practices.
