When Are New Standards Called For? - Pinkbike Poll
To me DUB was not a change in standards, it’s a change in product. Product that’s compatible with all frames, not a standard that makes frames obsolete. The outrage was stupid in my view.

Giant Factory Off-Road Team Partners with DVO Suspension for 2018 Race Season
Looks like a Topaz 2...wonder if they’ve changed the damper to a twin tube style like the Fox DPX2

There Won't Be a Trans-Provence in 2018
Hopefully someone will do this as an underground race. Nothing else like it out there and a crazy test for the riders. Congrats to Marco Osborne for potentially being the last winner.

Ask Pinkbike: Upgrading Components, Loose Spokes, and Enduro Race Training
IIRC, the prebuilt Stan’s wheels I had came with smaller gauge spokes, triple butted. That’s what I had problems with at my weight. The usual DT or Phil’s double butted spokes have been fine for me.

Ask Pinkbike: Upgrading Components, Loose Spokes, and Enduro Race Training
The Stans Flow wheels I had were the only ones I’ve ever broken spokes on. Factory wheel set with a 230lbs rider didn’t work out for me. Maybe machine built wheels were the issue? Running LBS built wheels for years with no problems.

Specialized Stumpjumper Expert Carbon EVO 29"

$2500 USD
Offering up my '13 Stumpjumer Expert EVO Carbon 29". Size large Custom build as follows: Rock Shox Pike RCT3 140mm Rock Shox Monarch Plus RC3 Debonair (specific shock for EVO 29") will include original Fox shock as well Shimano XT 1x11 drivetrain, 11-46 cassette, new as of a month ago XT derailleur, XTR chain and XTR shifter SRAM carbon cranks, Absolute Black oval 30t chainring, replaced with cassette and chain KS Lev dropper post Custom Chris King wheelset, with Easton ARC 27 rims (will consider keeping the wheels and selling the bike for less) Maxxis DHF front tire, Maxxis Agressor rear Hope Tech 4 piston brakes with 2 piece rotors Race Face stem and Truvativ Descendant bars, 760mm Will include service kits for the fork and shock, and another new set of brake pads This is a great all around bike for this area. The Rock Shox suspension works awesome and has converted me from being a Fox fanboy. Bike is a size large. I'm 6'2" and on the upper edge of the sizing, so 6'2" or smaller and this should be a good fit. If you want to save some money and source your own 29" wheels, I'll knock off $500. $2500 as is, $2000 without Chris King wheelset. I live in Cambria and work in SLO, can meet up in between.

With Marco having just won the 6 day Trans-Provance, I'm guessing this was more of training race. That guy is a beast.
