20 Ripper & Balance Bikes from the Malverns Classic
Childhood dreams. But a year or two pass and the bike is too small. A modular frame... That would be something. Or something with variable geometry. I have children, and my son already has his third bike, and now I'm looking for a fourth. Then probably a fifth, and I think I'll stop at six.

Randoms From Bellingham's Northwest Tune-Up
After all, 2005 was just a short time ago. Right? Time flies, and these new bikes are so unaggressive, so overly pretty. There's nothing like the Super Monster and the Norco Shore. I like these old designs. They're as aggressive as military vehicles.

DJI Avinox Motor Updated to 1000 W Unlimited Power [UPDATED]
Now tell me, if ebike is the same but faster, why instead of meeting smiling and slim cyclists on the trail, I meet breathless 40-year-olds with a pre-infarction condition on their latest e-bike? Mountain biking is like a subculture, like Sparta, like a legion, like one team. The rest want to get there with some tricks. Should we treat them like disabled or like cheaters? If you want to ride on the trail, buy a motorcycle, don't pretend you like pedaling.

First Ride: Fox's Fully Redesigned X2 & DHX2 Shocks
Now I know why there are so many used Foxes in the ads and so few DVOs, and Ohlins cost a lot even used. I won't even mention other brands. You could laugh at Suntour but do something instead that doesn't require care like false teeth. Ever since I can remember, I've had only the worst cases with Fox in the service center (where I used to work). For me, it's like a bicycle iPhone.

Review: The SR Suntour Durolux 38 EVO Fork is a Budget Performer
it is easy to service and there are parts. Because it is also the case that many parts are common to many suntour models so you just have to look at the exploded view.

Review: The SR Suntour Durolux 38 EVO Fork is a Budget Performer
Nope, Fox and the top Rs models are the best. All you need to service them is gold keys and a $500 repair kit, miracle oils and don't forget to change all that after 100 hours of riding! And you open the Suntour with a pocket knife and use an adjustable wrench. I used to work in a service shop and I hated doing Fox, and the Suntour is a piece of cake.

Pinkbike Poll: How Old Is Your Oldest Mountain Bike?
I have a classic and probably almost unique frame db xts moto from 2007 and I made a trail bike out of it which I've recently started riding a lot. Maybe I'll buy something new someday.
