Pinkbike Poll: The One Bike
If we're talking about the drivetrain, I agree with you. But Shimano brakes are way ahead of Sram's, in my opinion.

I'm a trials rider myself... I was just saying sometimes the best way to do something is not the point. I can jump higher and longer than I can bunnyhop or pedalkick, but I go out everyday to do bunnys, pedalkick and sidehops, etc. even thought I would do it better without a bike. It's all about having fun on two wheels, no matter the size, the suspension travel (or lack of it) or the number of gears.

it's not about doing it better or worse, it's about having fun on his bike. For example, why in the world would anybody do trials? You can do everything better without a bike, just call it parkour. You sound a lot like this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vn29DvMITu4&sns=em

The comments on Pinkbike make me laugh so hard. This place is full of real hipsters, with freeride/downhill/dirt bikes who hate everything that's different from their own little world. Grow up, sometimes it's not about the bike with the best performance, it's only about fun. So insted of being a hater, grab your bike and have fun...

Pinkbike's Burning Question - Will the 29er Replace the 26-inch Downhill and All-Mountain Bike?
You really have to try a 29er, they ride like a dream over super hard, super technical stuff. Remember Maxi-avalanche trail? If I could choose any bike to do that trail it had to be an AM 29er.

Pinkbike's Burning Question - Will the 29er Replace the 26-inch Downhill and All-Mountain Bike?
I've just tried a 2012 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR 29er and it was awesome. I found no compromise in agility, it had a lot of traction and it rolled like a stampede. 130mm was enough for almost anything, I rode some DH trails and the bike was up to the task. I sincerely think that 29er will get into all-mountain and DH but they will not replace completly 26ers because they aren't suitable for everyone. I like them because I'm 1,85m and it just feels right, but I doubt that a 1,60m guy will have the same feel.

the only place is called soccer is in USA, because you call football to a sport that's played mostly with your hands... everywhere else is just football...
