OneUp Announces New 157 Hubs
DH is a small part (nish) of MTB world.
If we discus DH strength is a key point not wight.
Converting 20mm with adaptors to 15 will cost extra wight which is important for XC Gravel & Road.
It is very nice you have used standard bearing size that open the door to buy replacement from top quality producers (not Enduro)

Pinkbike Poll: What Made You Stop Caring About Enduro?
the fact broadcasting isn't free is damaging cycling as sport in general.
its time more companies with public support attitude like Redbull take care of spreading the sport

Spotted: The New Scott Spark Does Not Have 32" Wheels - 2026 South Korea XC World Cup
You can see on the Bold cycles website how the new frame suspension linkage is working.
32”??? time and many riders in rush to spend money will make the future.
I personally think if not all size riders can use same wheel size it could not be raced as equal equipment.

XFusion Launches New Youth-Focused Roamin Fork for 20" and 24" Wheels
To teach children the basics you don’t need fancy suspension bikes as with there light weight they are not heavy enough to have the benefit of the extra weight it loads the bike.

For my experience this is my top option in 20” & 24”
Make sure your child is riding low enough tire pressure to cushion a bit the ride.
Hold on to age 11, 12 to spend big money.

XFusion Launches New Youth-Focused Roamin Fork for 20" and 24" Wheels
@Tristanssid: if you try to get second hand XS top carbon 26” hard tail it’s a good start at good low price, as long you chilled is tall enough to ride it.
Also Shimano 1x11 or 1x10 wide range is mast as hydraulic barke and air fork (Rock Shoks SID with two air chambers work the best with light weight riders)
For me it was long term investment as it gos between the children. Then sold to friends with younger ones for reasonable price or free as for my approach if my children became riders the bike could be donated for the next potential rider.
20” & 24” Specelized has aluminum framed bike with solid fork at good price and reasonable weight.

XFusion Launches New Youth-Focused Roamin Fork for 20" and 24" Wheels
@Kilian1b15Gt: I disagree.
If all materials used from adults bike, quality wall thickness and diameter ware maintained, children frame would weigh less as all pipes are shorter.
You do not have to go down in wall thickness but you can design smaller diameter pipes to hold a waiter of a chilled without sacrificing welding ability.
Regarding forks and wheels sorry nothing is done in this department to reduce weight. If same mid class adults bike forks and wheels technologie splayed to children’s bike we ware 100 steps closer to rideable bikes.
