Excellent condition, originally a 2020 29er Race spec (full components list available on Vital MTB). Rigorously maintained including suspension service at Ion2 Progression suspension at the end of last season. Parts changes/highlights including: - Upgraded with We Are One Strife + Industry Nine Hydra wheelset (also includes unused stock E13 LG1 DH wheelset) - We Are One bars - Burgtec Cloud saddle - Sram GX DH drivetrain - Sram Code RSC brakes with 220 rotors and Galfer pro compound pads - New Cane Creek 110 lower headset - Fresh Maxxis tires with Cushcore in rear - 450lb and 500lb springs for rear shock - Pedals not included Frame size is XL. (I’m a lanky ish 5’11” and it’s worked well for me.) I’ve only been able to put three laps on it this season and am starting to look at a replacement for my main enduro rig, hence the sale. 2019 Transition PBJ, primarily used as a town bike with light dirt jump, pump track and jib use. Super fun and bombproof. The bike was briefly stolen from me and the stock Pike DJ stripped and replaced with the Fox 36 pictured. After it was recovered I rebuilt and inspected the whole bike and have been using it as is since with great results. Aside from the fork, front wheel and cockpit (currently set up with a 40mm stem and 740mm bars) this is the standard PBJ build kit. Size Short, closest to conventional sizing for other dirt jumpers on the market. I feel comfortable on it at 5’11, even coming off big trail bikes. This bike started life as a frameset and has been built up as follows: - 2019 Fox Factory DHX2 (with 400 lb SLS and 450 lb conventional springs) and 2019 170mm Fox Factory 36 with GRIP2 Damper (2 spacers installed) - DT Swiss wheelset with 511 rims and 350 hubs. (Swapped to a steel free hub body for added durability) - Maxxis Assegai DD and Minion DHR2 DH Tires (Both MaxxGrip and set up tubeless) - Shimano XT M8000 11-speed drivetrain. Currently has 11-42t cassette and a 32t OneUp chainring + chain guide - Shimano XT M8000 brakes. 4 piston caliper with 203mm rotor up front and 2 piston caliper with 180mm rotor in the rear. - 170mm OneUp dropper post with SDG Radar Saddle - Full Spank cockpit with uncut Vibrocore bars. I’ve had this bike since 2019 to ride when I haven’t been bogged down with school and work. It has been exceptional, capable across all kinds of terrain. It has marks of use but has been obsessively maintained with annual suspension rebuilds at Ion2 Suspension along with massive amounts of proactive maintenance and part replacements. I’ve used Velcro and 3M tape to cover key wear spots and quiet chain noise which you can keep or remove as you see fit. It has only seen one singular bike park day and single-digit shuttle days. The frame size is technically an XL but it is much more similar to the geometry of other modern 27.5 larges (ie. Commencal Clash and Norco Sight). I’m 5’11 and up-sizing along with the increase in front travel helps the bike feel modern and very capable. Will also include two brand new tires (Maxxis DHR2 DD and Specialized Hillbilly DH) and all suspension manuals. Fender, bottle cage, pedals and tools not included. Thank you for checking it out.
