Fully rigid is the way to go! I still ride my rigid xc bike a lot. Makes riding the DH machine so much more comfortable

I love how the vid was 80% climbing and 20% descending. So few mainstream vids give climbing the respect it deserves. Massive respect for the skill it takes to ride like that.

Filmed in Madrid. This film took me to mountainbiking at the age of 12-13...And it took me to the use of helmet on bikes...I actually managed to get a Bell Image like that one

I have one of those bikes in the video that I still ride today, and pick it to ride over my new fancy Carve Pro. The Carve Pro is faster, but the old school'er is more fun. I'm just afraid I'll break it being that it's18 years old. My next build is going to be a fully rigid titanium with 650b wheels.

Me too, but hitting roots at anything other than absolutely 100% perpendicularly will throw you off, and those narrow handlebars make jumping a little sketchy.

Nothing else rips up fire roads quite like it, though.
