Review: Versus All Mountain Trail Tires - Direct to Consumer & Straight to the Point
so, for 70% of the cost of a Maxxis, I can get a tire with 30% shorter lugs that looks like a continental? no thanks

Final Results from Red Bull Rampage 2022
So frustrating that this event has gone to shit. First $150 GA tickets that sell out in 2 seconds, and now I have to buy a sportsball subscription to watch it? Even with a login, I'm struggling to get the ESPN app to work. and I hear there's commercial breaks this year?!?! I'd be cool if all this was in response to RB paying for athlete insurance, or compensating athletes at all, but with no change in athlete compensation, I'm struggling to be a fan this year. H5 Events, RedBull, and Disney/ESPN really dropped the ball this year.

Replay: Red Bull Rampage 2022
@onawalk: We're talking about mountain bikers. You know, the dudes that sleep in the parking lot of races, sneak into hotel pools for showers and wash their bikes with hose bibs on the back of a McDonalds. This event asking us to buy a sportsball subscription is ridiculous. I'd be happy to give $10 to every rider out there in fair compensation. But when the money is going to line Disney's pockets, its a sad state for our sport. But hey, you sound to me like a guy that just picked up a bike during the pandemic, have a pair of elbow pads and a mouth that runs faster than you bike. So, uh, enjoy the new rampage - it seems to be designed just for the likes of you

Replay: Red Bull Rampage 2022
@onawalk: I'd bet money you'd be b*tching if you didn't get to watch it for free up there in cannuck-a-stan. For those of us who got screwed buying tickets (sold out in 2 second), didn't want to pay $150 for a GA ticket (used to be $15), and don't care to support ESPN (cuz wtf else am I going to watch, sportsball?), this is a crying shame. RedBull, H5 Events and ESPN - y'all aren't welcome in Utah if you're just gonna come destroy our landscape, monetize athletes without providing insurance or fair compensation, and leave shit-pile of trash in the desert. If, however, I got to watch this event I may look past your egregious oversight in screwing the local community out of viewing the event.

Canfield Riot (toiR) 29er w/ DVO

$2500 USD
Relatively new bike, with less than 400 miles on the frame. This price is a steal for the build quality - need to move bike ASAP. Rides like a bat screeching out of hell. The 140mm of suspension is plenty for everything from bike parks, to casual XC rides. The suspension geometry allows for efficient pedaling without having to lock out the shock - you can crank up Low Speed Compression if you want a bit firmer ride, but I've found the rear wheel tracks best if I leave it the same settings up and down. This bike is a riot!! Well, technically they had to change the name to "tior" (riot backwards) due to a legal issue with the name "riot" being trademarked. I built this bike up custom in September, but now have to sell due to moving out of country. I can provide a sales receipt for warranty protection. Here's the relevant build info: Fork: Rockshox Pike RCT3 Shock: DVO Jade w/ 550lbs spring (Ideal for 180-200lbs rider) F. Wheel: Stans Flow 29er w/ Stans hub R. Wheel: Stans Flow 29er w/ Hope Pro 4 Hub ($600 wheel!) Brakes: Shimano XTR Drive: SRAM GX 1x11sp Cockpit - WTB Saddle, Raceface Atlas Bar, new Troy Lee Grips Tires - Currently both are Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.5 Pedals - not included The frame, rear wheel, chain, cassette and derailleur have less than 400 miles on them. The front wheel, brakes, shifter and crank had 1 full season on them before they were mounted on this bike, and show a bit more paint chipping/wear that you'd expect with a used component. Front Rim is still very true, I've never had to replace any spokes. Fork was recently entirely overhauled. The Crown/Stanchions were replaced due to a creaky noise coming from the crown ($250), the charger damper was rebuilt with a new rubber bladder and upgraded seal-head ($100), the air piston was serviced and new fork seals were installed ($60). I've ridden the Santa Cruz Hightower, the Evil Following, Salsa Horsethief, Specialized Stumpjumper and Enduro. The Canfield Balance Suspension platform is so rad in comparison. It tracks awesome both up and down hill, while pedaling and while braking. This is the reason the Canfield Bros have a cult following. Still not sure how it would compare to the the Pivot Mach 429, or Transition Smuggler, but it is definitely in the same league. Buyer responsible for bike shipping costs. Text is the best way to reach me! Mike
