And they're super light but I hit a rock garden in them and they literally blew off my feet.

I wouldn't call them POS's (given that they cost more than most used cars), but you're not wrong. The specialized link takes you to the Stumpjumper page. They should've linked to the Stumpjumper FSR page: http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bikes/mountain/stumpjumper-fsr

Video: Rake and Ride with the Coastal Crew
Isn't the intent of trail building beyond "raking and riding" to firm up berms, drainage routes, bridges over delicate ecosystems (creeks and the like)? I have loved the Coastal Crew for years and am typically very impressed by the trails they build (as far as I can tell via video) and the production of their work. But this does not seem to encourage very positive trail building practices. I can handle the forthcoming downvotes, but the reason there are bans on trails like this is because they can cause erosion, slides, and harm to dependent ecosystems. And yes, I'm sure this is on private property. And yes, I'm sure they had permission. But it still bothers me. And yes, I also have concerns about Rampage but have never said anything because the event is just too damn cool. So call me a hippy or a hypocrite. I'm just posing the question (that has already been asked and answered 100k times).

Yeah, his whole edit had all kinds of style and flow. Had to go back and watch it again.

Any sponsored video is a sales pitch. Arguably, pinkbike, as a sponsored or ad supported website, is a very large sales pitch. But is the content interesting? Are we willing buyers? Yeah. For the most part. This vid is well produced and gives insight into the dynamic and training of a World Cup Team. It belongs here. I guess I'm not sure why you're complaining.
