1. Matt V. knows his $hit. 2. McGarry might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but he can definitely ride 3. CSI? Need to see some real feedback for that one. 4. 7 series alloy never disappoints, duh. What year is this?
everyone made them back in the day, because they couldn't make an all carbon bar strong enough. nuke proof made MTB hybrid carbon/alu bars back in the mid 90's. Ritchey was notorious for calling their handle bars carbon, but they were wrapped around an alloy bar...
Matt V knows his shit. Complete confidence in his voice, knew every number, all the standard terminology... very impressed with him, and the products he's promoting.
Yeah, I wasn't trying to hit on him or anything, but when you see the majority of these booth dudes stutterin' and stammering their way through a product it looks like they saw for the first time today, this is a nice change.
I've got a pair of gravity cranks on my DJ/4X bike and errmm they haven't snapped or bent .... Pretty sick and pretty light, had em for ages with no problems other than snapping a chain ring which was my fault :/
JON ..... Jon with out a H , see no H .... ,I think your tryin to say i weigh f*ck all .... And yer your right 9 stone (that in lbs havent a clue :S ) so yer i see what ye mean
I'm not talking down to you, I'm explaining why I dislike FSA and thus Gravity components. Without you being a mechanic I don't think there's a chance you'll understand my frustration with the company. Also I despise them so much that I don't feel like going into detail about it at all.
I've had fsa components on my bikes before, my friends have fsa components, hell, my mom has fsa stuff on her road bike, and I've never heard of any issues with them that would be out of the ordinary. That doesn't mean that the possibility for issues doesn't exist, but simply telling me that because I'm not a mechanic I won't understand doesn't do anything to prove your point.
That's cool, but as a mechanic I see easily 100 times more components than those who are not mechanics. Throughout the 10+ years I've been wrenching, I've seen more FSA components fail than any other component manufacturer, especially their carbon cranks.
There we go. All you had to do was say that the first time. And don't bring nationalism into this, thats incredibly pointless and just makes you look ignorant.
It doesn't make you god, special in any way, or give you the right to be vulgar. This is an old argument, so lets just end it now before it gets any more pointless and full of stupidity than it already is.
