Is there a barber booth at sea otter. I might set that up next year!

 1. Matt V. knows his $hit.
2. McGarry might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but he can definitely ride
3. CSI? Need to see some real feedback for that one.
4. 7 series alloy never disappoints, duh. What year is this?

i wish they would produce articles with photos for all the sea otter stuff, id much rather read that then watch a interview

Love the idea they are using alloy & carbon into 1 handle bar
  • 2 0
alloy+carbon = old sauce! bar manufacturers have been making hybrid carbon and alloy bars for ever!

in the road cycling world maybe but this is the first i've heard for mountain biking.
  • 2 0
everyone made them back in the day, because they couldn't make an all carbon bar strong enough. nuke proof made MTB hybrid carbon/alu bars back in the mid 90's. Ritchey was notorious for calling their handle bars carbon, but they were wrapped around an alloy bar...

Matt V knows his shit. Complete confidence in his voice, knew every number, all the standard terminology... very impressed with him, and the products he's promoting.
  • 1 0
totally agree with that, eloquent speaking right there!
  • 5 0
Yeah, I wasn't trying to hit on him or anything, but when you see the majority of these booth dudes stutterin' and stammering their way through a product it looks like they saw for the first time today, this is a nice change.

I like how you base product choice on colour lol
  • 1 0
nah, i base it on design, but even so, if its bright frickin yellow i would never want it on my bike, that colour is for hi-vis jackets!

I've got a pair of gravity cranks on my DJ/4X bike and errmm they haven't snapped or bent .... Pretty sick and pretty light, had em for ages with no problems Wink other than snapping a chain ring which was my fault :/

John, you seem to be about a buck 25 soaking wet, thats why those cranks work for you. Again, I am 230 lbs, a little more substantial beating.
