One of the reasons I love watching Joey’s riding is because, more than just about anyone else I’ve watched, she rides the way I ride in my mind. Of course, the reality isn’t nearly as impressive, but her casual flow and style, and her genuine enjoyment and nervous excitement get me stoked every time. The Brandon Semenuks and Kade Edwards of this world are very impressive, of course, but I find Joey more relatable, even if she is leagues ahead of where I’ll ever be.
