Tech Randoms III: 2025 Champéry Downhill World Championships
@tincancharlie: it is pretty wild that the saint brakes are a ~13 year old design and WC riders are still running them.

Wiggle CRC Reported to be Bought by Frasers Group for Under £10 Million
@shredddr: The word profit is extremely relevant here WiggleCRC has been massive but unprofitable for the best part of a decade now. You can't go on forever in business without making some money at some point. There will come a time when the banks or individuals funding you will want their money back It is a shame for the consumer though because WCRC couldn't have sold any cheaper if they were a charity - they were hooking up the consumer with sweet deals and then making a loss at the end of the year.

First Ride: Cannondale Moterra SL eMTB - Full Power Without the Weight
They normally weigh a size small or medium without pedals... So when you stick a set of flats on there and yours is actually an L or XL it can easily be 0.8kg (2lbs) heavier... The problem is all the brands do the same thing, nobody wants to look like theirs is really heavy

Morph Cycles / Reynolds 853 / 27.5 / Includes shock

$1500 GBP
Brand new 27.5" Morph Cycles frame available to buy as a frameset. Frameset includes a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate (RRP £578, Pinkbike Product of the year) and a Cane Creek 40 Headset. Morph frames are normally £2600 + shock, so this is a total bargain. Frame Details: Full Reynolds 853 tubeset, CNC work by Dward Design and hand-brazed in France by Gael Baudou. The frame produces 150mm travel from a 210x55 metric spacing shock and best used with a 150/160mm fork. With a 160mm fork the geometry is as follows: 467mm reach, 441mm chainstay, 64.5 head angle, 77/78 effective seat tube angle and a 1243mm wheelbase The frame features: 148x12 boost spacing, standard 73mm threaded BB, 31.6 seatpost and 34.9 clamp (all super standard for easy compatibility). Tyre clearance for up to 27.5x2.4. The internal cable routing is tube-in-tube type - push the cable in one end and it will pop out the other! The sizing on this frame would be ideal for a rider 5'7-5'11. The frame could also work well for riders slightly shorter and slightly taller depending on the sizing you are looking for. Happy to answer any questions regarding compatibility, build spec and parts to ensure the customer build goes to plan. I can assist with discounts on Hunt Wheels and OneUp components and am happy to make product recommendations. Lots of bargains available currently, so would be easy to find a great deal on a fork, wheels etc to finish the build! I estimate you could build the bike up with 1x12, 4 pot brakes, good suspension and alloy wheels for about £3-4k. Top end suspension, carbon wheels, AXS etc would take the build to £5-7k.
