Video: Do You Really Need DH Casing Tires?
This. Explaining that higher pressures would provide a certain amount of puncture resistance in the lighter casings, but at the expense of ride feel and traction, would add more value to the article than saying “we set this product up incorrectly and guess what it failed”. Shame Continental don’t have their own pressure calculator, or that would have been a good place to start.

Craig Murray needs to borrow Palmer’s “summer job” pants. Pro skier sliding it into the 30s in Elite Men two rounds in a row is no joke

First Ride: Canyon's New Strive:On
Can someone please explain how "extra overrun" isn't the same as "does not need pedalling input for the motor to provide forward propulsion"? I realise there needs to be smoothing of the power delivery beyond the binary of pedalling / not pedalling, but this feels like the top of a slippery slope. Presumably the UCI (and legislators) are all over it, but it seems as though the line could get awful blurry awful quickly if this is being marketed as a feature, which the next iteration will no doubt "improve upon" further. Or am I missing something?

Spy Shots: Transition's New Sentinel Long-Travel 29er
@toast2266: They have made a custom chassis. It's either 43 or 44mm offset, can't remember, but the whole new Transition range will have this when it's released in September.
