Course Preview: Smooth Sailing - Albstadt World Cup XC 2019
Basically, Albstadt should never have been awarded a World Championship. It is illegal to mountainbike on trails narrower than 2 meters here in this State of Germany. This means that you cannot ride on most of this track. Outside of this "Event" and the money it brings, mountainbikers are not very welcome here.

They are not allowed to build permanent features. This all has to be taken down afterwards. It's actually illegal here in this part of Germany to ride stuff like this.

Well seeing that it is Illegal in this part of Germany to ride your bike on trails narrower than 2 meters, it's not really a surprise that they're trying to turn the whole course into an autobahn ! LOL ! Typical German is my opinion and a good reason to boycott this event every year.

Review: 700 Kilometers of Monster-Trucking the Specialized Turbo Kenevo
"Electrified Downhill monster truck" says it all. Doesn't fit into my idea of what mountainbiking is about...

Bikepark Leogang Opens on May 10, 2018
@flappie: Sadly that's exactly how it is. Here in Germany we have right of access but in Baden-W├╝rttemberg (SW of Germany incl. Black Forest) it's not allowed to cycle on trails narrower than 2m. That means no single trails. But luckily they are not as draconian as the Austrians. Someone might say to you that you can't ride here but just keep going and wish them a nice day ;-)

HEADLINES : Mountainbiking is illegal in 90% of Austria. Bike Parks support the Law and cash in on the situation. https://www.upmove-mtb.eu/legal-biken/wir-wollen-legal-biken/983/ Support the movement, not the Lobbies.
