Esker Releases Smokey Steel Hardtail Designed for a 160mm Fork
@tim-at-esker-cycles: While I understand the point of trying to represent the bike in actual riding conditions, reporting geometry at sag makes it far more difficult to compare geometry between other bikes. This issue is compounded by the fact that there is no single agreed upon number for sag. The fact that Esker appears to be using a somewhat unusual 30% for fork sag just highlights this issue. With a tap measure and a simple phone app, I can easily measure the unsagged geo of any bike in the garage. Outside of a CAD model, measuring sagged geo is significantly more complicated.

Esker Releases Smokey Steel Hardtail Designed for a 160mm Fork
Is there really demand for a hardtail with 160mm of travel? Personally, I find somewhere around 130 to be ideal. Going above 130, it feels like the geo and balance of the bike change far too much as the fork compresses. Some rough math... a size Medium is going to get about 7 degrees steeper at bottom out.

Ibis Releases New 130mm Ripley
Rear triangles are likely identical for all sizes. The change in chainstay length is likely coming from slight changes to pivot locations on the front triangle.

Wolf Tooth Announces New EnCase Pump
@hardtail29errba: Why would I spend $69.95 on a new pump that does not fit any of our bikes, and then also try to find a really obscure adapter to make it work?

First Look: Garbaruk's Aluminum Enduro Crankset
I am pretty sure the XC version is bonded/glued aluminum, and it looks like this enduro version uses a thicker bond line as well as some reinforcing screws to help hold it all together. Basically, I think the screws are only there to protect the glue and are not the primary thing holding the cranks together.

First Look: Garbaruk's Aluminum Enduro Crankset
The Garbaruk website is thin on details. It looks like the XC version is glued/bonded aluminum using two hollow CNC pieces per side. This enduro version appears to be the same concept, but with a thicker bond line and some reinforcing screws to help hold everything together.
