Remembering Stevie Smith, 1989-2016
Reading this on Mother’s Day and remembering the scene where his mom would shuttle. She used to wait for me and then I waited for her.

Paragon Machine Works is Closing up Shop - A Great Loss for People Who Make Bikes
I remember when this shop was in Greenbrae. I went in looking for a 50 tooth chainring.
Sad news.

Review: 2026 Intense Spider - The Slalom Specialist
Reminds me of the tazer . I rode several of them for years. Used it as an XC all around bike. Great handling put a 160mm fork on it. Punched above its weight class. Only scary part was the low bottom bracket. And it was scary at times.

@WRainey88: And the loss for his entire presidency, start to finish, was 178,000 manufacturing jobs,
That’s a quote from your cited article. There was not a net gain. It was a net loss.

Video: 'Live Uncaged' - The Brett Tippie Story
I was at sea otter one year waiting for whatever new movie was about to play. I too was in that dark side. Tippie was there chilling with his buddies. I remember watching him and thinking yea him too. On the drive home all that I had left I threw out the window and never looked back. I also just had a kid and didn’t want to be that person as a parent. I always watch these updates on Brett and am stoked that he’s doing well. Good for you man.

Opinion: The Table
The first dual suspension bike I owned was a 97 uzzi sl. Damn, it's been twenty years. I was going to give it to a local bike store so the owner could salvage what he wanted off of it. Might have just changed my mind....

Rachel Atherton Joins British Cycling's MTB Gravity Commission
One thing they could work on is always have equal prize winnings. It's antiquated to have events that pay the top male finishers more then the ladies.
