[UPDATE] Adolf Silva Sustains Serious Spinal Injury Following Double Flip Crash at Rampage
@JanB: I think it would be very unfair to have people that haven't walked everyone's line to be judging just based on tv video. I know who I would score best but then I haven't been up there so I could well be wrong. I think the answer is for each year have all the riders meet with the judges and rewagch the previous year while the judges explain why they scored whwt they did. That way they all know what the judges are looking for. And then have the judges mic'd up for the broadcast so the public also understand the results

Pinkbike Poll: What's the First Thing You Upgrade On a New Mountain Bike?
Stem and bars should always be the first thing. The chances that a bike of any bike being spec'd with the correct bar rise and stem length for your size and riding style are almost 0%
And while your there some decent grips make sense

$1600 GBPMONDRAKER SUMMUM PRO TEAM
Bought last year from a friend to take to spain on a mtb holiday.
These bikes are very high spec as standard and nearly everything on this bike has been upgraded further.
Some of the upgraded parts are:
FOX Float 40 kashima coat forks(£1500)
Shimano Saint brake levers and calipers(£300)
Shimano Saint pedals (£60)
Shimano Saint cranks (£125)
Shimano Saint derailleur (£82)
Shimano Saint trigger shifter(£37)
Dmr backline front wheel(£100 I think)
Gusset 760mm wide bars (£39)
Sun Ringle MTX 33 rear wheel with novatec hub (£100 without spokes)
Richey pro seat post(£40)
Loaded stem (£40)
Thats over £2420 of extras on a bike that was £5300 new!
There are a few marks and small scratches on the bike but is in V.Good condition for a DH bike. the only two real issues are that the haldle bar has a fairly deep scratch and The bike fell over in the garage and it cracked the end cap of one the grips so i just put some tape on it to the protect the grip(see picture) theses are cosmetic issues that don't affect the bike at all .
Never raced or abused always cleaned after every ride.
I have just thoroughly cleaned and re-greased every moving part on this bike.
Comes with extra springs for the forks purple(soft) and green(firm), head-angle adjustment kit, spare chain, spare seat with longer seatpost, spare brake discs, and spare brake pads(see picture)
Also comes with a plastic bike cover
Selling so I can buy a all mountain/enduro bike so i would consider a trade or swap!
Can ship for £25 or can be collected from sandy Bedfordshire or Royston Hertfordshire.
