FDA Approves Device That May Help Prevent Traumatic Brain Injuries by Clamping Blood Vessels in the Neck
By wearing this, how are you not risking a massive brain swelling in the case of a significant head trauma? This restricts a blood outflow from your brain, right? Right?

Video: Vali Höll Explores the Incredible Trails of Madeira on her New Trek
There are also many very rideable trails for moderately advanced riders. But you definitely need a guide and a shuttle. And seeing everyone is recommending agencies, our experience with Bikulture was perfect. Not just the riding but the accommodation and social stuff as well. When going there again, I'm texting these guys first.

I second that. Best riding of my life. Liguria trails might be more technical, Austrian parks might be bigger, Alpine trails might be faster ... But the atmosphere and the people and the environment make riding in Madeira more than just riding. Hard to describe, definitely go there, you won't regret.

Pinkbike Primer - Everything You Need to Know About Crankworx Innsbruck 2019

Review: Fox 36 GRIP2 vs. RockShox Lyrik RC2 Fork
@themountain: Ohhhh the twice as expensive twice as good phenomenon. I think it is pretty "easy" to get to some point of weight, durability and functionality. And then it becomes tricky. Every single improvement above this point is very hard so if you want better item than this "standard line", you have to pay more and more, because beyond that point it becomes veeeery hard to spare some grams, to make it smoother, to add some more functions. And I ride 36 now but I love Lyriks and I don't think more adjustment is always a good thing.

Review: Mondraker Foxy Carbon XR 29
Just like Levy said. I am lucky owner of the "R" version, got a great deal on it. It is a super relaxing ride on our local trails, every jump seems to be small. It really wakes up on downhill tracks. One of the things not mentioned here is it loves to get in the air, especially sending long low senders. Yeah and you have to literally lay down on the handlebars to get most of the grip, insane feeling. This bike scares me sometimes, I love it. Lifetime frame warranty as well.

What Are Your Riding Resolutions for 2018?
Race more for fun and less for results (they were lousy anyway). Build better physique to limit exhaustion during racing and generally to be able to enjoy it more.

Neck Braces - Should You Be Wearing One?
Hahaha guys! it's not an evidence based medicine! it's just my memories. (My) Common logic says: helmet makes your head way bigger -> if you fall on your head, it will move more -> we are not built for this -> wear that shit, it might save your life.
