Chris Akrigg Parts Ways with GT
Absolutely love Chris's riding. Honestly I get as excited, or more, when Akrigg drops a new video than any other rider - even Danny Mac. I hope he lands with a good brand and release many new vids. Best of luck, Chris.

Chris King Launches Range of Recyclable Carbon Wheels
This...All Day. I am in that boat too. Saved and bought King hubs to buy into the "last forever" camp. Recently had to spend ~$250 to get a full replacement axle and driver. Only needed axle - wouldn't sell just that part - had to buy a freehub too for a set of ISO hubs on my commuter. Had this happen with my R45 disc hubs I bought. Wanted to swap my drivetrain and even though I bought the hubs ~6 months prior they aren't XD compatible - WTF? No six bolt, not supporting past products and poor customer support - all reasons why the four pairs of King hubs I own will be my last. My original set that has probably over 10K miles still work great, but the negatives are outweighing the positives with the "new" direction King is going.

Video: SRAM's Wireless Eagle AXS Drivetrain Explained
@rockchomper: I feel you. I personally run XO1 level everything except the rear derailleur, which is a GX for the reason you stated. The derailleur is a "dumb" part and only does what the shifter tells it. I run a nice shifter, cassette and chain and a cheap derailleur in case/when I smoke it on a rock/stick. Cheers, -A

Have Your Say on the Ever-Changing Bike Standards
I fully agree with the above statement and is a reason I own three sets of King hubs, headsets, etc. That being said - Chris King needs to point from his FAIRTRADEā„¢ sourced throne a garlic scented finger at the CNC machines and make XD drivers for their road hubs... Pretty sure that "standard" is going to stick.
