It made the bike feel more bottomless, it felt like a 6" bike(normally 4") with the coil shock, air shocks tend to be progressive in their travel so the more you compress it the firmer it becomes, the coil is much more linear, meaning it takes about the same amount of force to compress it all the way through the travel.
I saw you asked about changing shock sizes and someone gave you the wrong advice, the 200mm eye to eye need to stay the same to keep the original geometry, and increasing the stroke length is usually not recommended, although 1-2mm either way would not make a difference.
