Bikepark Châtel pre-opening
Because of the huge amount of snow from this winter, Bikepark Châtel will open a bit late. As we have a spy from Shaperideshoot who works as a shaper in the resort we had the chance to ride the fresh made trails. Can't wait to be June 22nd for the opening. www.shaperideshoot.com

Those are some HEFTY drops to be hitting on a hardtail, respect!

its funny how people are saying you don't need full sus etc. But I bet both those guys have spent most of their career on full sus gaining skills they could use on the hardtail. noway you would hit that sized drop on a hardtail before learning it on a fullsus. just sayin'

Bullshyte mate. It is absolutely unrelated. I used to hit shit of such size on XC HT frame with 140 fork and Vbrake in the rear. That was my 5th year of riding. I know a guy that was going warp speed on his DH-bike few months after buying it in his first year of riding. He still can't believe what I can do on HT, I am still much slower than him.
But yes, they defo ride full sussers. It is a rare sight, a guy on HT with 36 180 and D3.

I was always riding my full sus, from day one, but since there were no lifts where I live, I got a cheap HT with a 150mm fork, my riding improved so much! from picking 'better lines' I got faster, from doing landings in an 'unforgiving' bike,I got more 'accurate'. and from being able to 'climb more' I became stronger....
you should have both, a full suspension and a HT, it will make you better!

so why can videos be vods if they don't wear helmets all the time but a picture can't be a pod if there is no helmet?
