Yeah, I think I've just accepted the only way I'm watching/caring about WC DH is if its easily findable and watchable, and free. Like it was with Redbull; and it doesn't seem like I'm the only one. This can't be good for DH as a whole.

This, Colorado is the same way, we have some of the highest vehicle theft rates in the country and bike theft? I'm not sure its even really illegal, sure theres laws that says it is but teh recovery/arrest rate related to it is almost 0. The amount of unsuspecting tourists staying the night in Denver before their big CO mtb trip that have ALL of their bikes stolen off their car is insane. The REI in downtown Denver is particularly bad, I almost don't want to shop there because they have a fenced off parking area which gives the illusion of safety but 0 security and peak summer you can read daily about out of towners having their bikes stolen just from that one parking lot.

This, they completely glossed over the theft aspect, which living in Front Range Colorado LOL. Bikes just disappear seemingly instantly if left unattended.

I think I speak for every American that lives in a top 50-top 100 city by population. 1 I don't ride to commute/run errands cause of distance 2 Even if I wanted to it would be a matter of hours/days before my bike was stolen.
Bike theft is hands down the #1 reason I wouldn't even if I could.

Review: 1,000 Miles on SRAM's New Eagle Transmission
So it's not cheap, but I have several buddies who work for SRAM and have had this hanging off their bikes for a while now.
It's worth the hype, shifting is crisp and really can do it whenever, and its absolutely bullet proof like lay your bike down jump on the derailleur and not only does nothing break but it shifts perfectly after words, its kinda crazy. Also just looking at these things in person you'll get a feel for how stout it is, chain, cassette, chain ring this thing is burly.
