Prime Bicycles Launches with New Downhill & Enduro Bikes
This is a superb looking machine ! So many cool details I love the work on the flat/rounded edges of the headtube junction. The unno seat tube is there too, clean lines all the way. It looks like a scott ransom but refined. I love it ! Prices of the builds are decent too (from euro perspective). If you compare most of the famous brands such as specialized, or trek they charge more for builds with lower specs builds. My only wish, offer a raw carbon finish (as antidote or Unno) I would love to see some shimano/magura brakes and transmissions options too. But once again congrats !

New U.S. Congress Bill Proposes a Tax Rebate for E-Bike Purchases
I agree that regular bikes should be put in the equation as well but have in mind that all electric cars are as well incentived with tax credits. If your commute is short enough to be done by bike it's better to do it by bike than in whether you car is electric or not. Since 3 years in France many incentives for e-bikes were put in place some of them are nation wide others are from the city or region. The amount of those incentives are quite identical roughly -500€ per family or -1000€ if you are a manual worker (plumber/woodworker/electrician) and you need a cargo e-bike. Combined with the development of secured infrastructures (bike lanes, secured bike parking spots) the effect at least in Paris have been absolutely fantastic over the last 2 years. The number of people commuting by bike jumped from 2% to 6% (car went down from 15% to 10%, everything else is walking and public transportation). When this covid shit will be away, I hope some of you will be able to visit or come back to Paris you'll notice the difference. So yes incentives for all bikes would be better but incentives for e-bikes are a great start.

Ceetec Introduces 137-Gram Phenum XC Bar and Lightweight Alloy Thru-Axles
Swiss products are usually super high quality and pricey have in mind that manufacturong here requires well paid staff, have in mind that the minium wage (by law) is slightly above 23 francs per hour roughly 26 USD per hour that makes a 41h/week monthly salary arround or 4700$ USD per month. So yes it's pricey But you pay more for quality rather than marketing here and that's ok for me
