Just my 2 cents here, and I know it's going to sound pretentious but from a french perspective all of those charities only emphasize the lack of solidarity. Let me explain local trail groups (paying ones) almost don't exist in France and suppose most of Europe because all of the public space is free and accessible to absolutely everyone (MTB, Hikers, Horse riders...) sure there are a few private terrains with trails and jumps being maintained and for those you need to pay a fee for the lifts but that's it and that's a minority. Search and rescue, free and the sadest of them all the go fund me of mountain bikers Impacted by Injuries this one is the most mindfuck of all those guys crashed and on top of that they have to beg for their recovery. If "breaking bad" would take place somewhere in europe the show would be a 5 min episode, Walter white would receive the bad news of his cancer and would be treated for free it's bad enough already.

He mentionned Transvesubienne as an "XC" race, in my opinion it's the most enduro race ever. I’ve tackled the Transvésubienne twice, both times with some serious prep. First attempt? Total flop—I didn’t finish. Second attempt? I somehow survived, crawling in at #300 out of the 400 people who actually managed to finish (out of 1,000 starters). This race is bonkers. It's 88 km (or about 8 million football fields for my imperial pals), with climbs totaling +2,800 m (roughly 50,000 bald eagles high) and descents of -4,100 m (a casual 90,090 machine guns worth of downhill chaos). The climbs are so gnarly most of the time you're just carrying your bike like it's your favorite child. The descents? Equally ridiculous—like someone paved a trail with loose rocks just to watch you suffer. Flat parts? None. Zip. Zero. It’s the ultimate test of endurance, insanity, and love for pain. But wow, what a race—it’s absolutely enduro on steroids!

While riding my city bike, I had my phone mounted on the handlebars. I’ve learned my lesson—not doing that again. The constant vibrations eventually damaged the camera's autofocus. When I went to the Apple Store to get it fixed, I was initially puzzled about the cause since I’m usually careful with my equipment. The technician only needed to ask one question to pinpoint the issue: 'Do you ride with your phone mounted on a bike or motorcycle?

I disagree. As you see on the belt this baguette is pure sacrilège soft, squishy not crispy. most likely made without proper T55 or T45 flour I would guess a corn base mixture to give this baguette a softer crust and this cake-ish texture. Otherwise good job One up but please real baguettes on packshot photos. We can spot them kilometres away.

It's a point of detail but Santa cruz and Rocky mountain are making nice looking bikes and I cannot understand why they have been doing it for years for years and are still sticking it to it. Can someone explain me why do they fit the ugliest possible saddles on those nice bikes (i'm talking about the WTB saddles)
