Last summer Alexandre Chapellier and I did a tour of BC and started our trip in Revelstoke. The riding was phenomenal, with lots of elevation, epic dirt, great flow and some very cool features. For some reason, I had never posted that video, and as the cold weather is rolling in, I felt like it was a good time to share this one:

Yes it´s Tractive! I can´t recommend it however. It´s working ok when you have reception (which is in cities) - if not it is absolutely useless. So when you need it most (i.e. in the wilderness) it doesnt work!
@Gristle: ok ill ask Remy not to do that again, that he should post PB first lol
I don't know how it works but maybe Outside has some kinda of evaluation before accepting any content. thus cannot be posted until it is within their guideline of, quote-(SAFE!)
Hey Kaz and Henry is this content suitable to your liking and worthy to be shared on the PB platform # "the moderators with no social media audience " .....
@likeittacky: Pinkbike decides what goes on the home page and when, not me. They receive a lot of blog/news/videos etc and can't make it live the next second.
@likeittacky: you need to ride more bike. Nobody cares about your responses. You're on almost every article talking trash. What's your motivation, Genuinely? Are you trying to make the creatives who prepare the shit we all enjoy feel less creative? Do you want the tech writers to write in basic third grade vocabulary? Do you actually believe you're contributing? From the rest of the community YOU ARE NOT CONTRIBUTING. Go talk to your family dude. It's ok to tell people your problems in the right format, you might even feel better afterwards. A lot of us ride and talk about our bikes to relax. Some folks just want to make the trails an HOA. Don't move here.
@gearbo-x: yeah, it's too bad we didn't get to watch Jerry McNoob riding his brakes the entire way down whilst out of his comfort zone. That's what we all really want.
@therealnobody: What fuking prick. What did i say in this thread that causes you so much offense? Clearly you are the piece of work if you take any offense of this thread.
My First comment was pointing out to @Fabwizard the fact that YT usually receives Remy's vids first and Vital usually post content before PB.That comment was intended as a reply to @Fabwizard but got redirected as a regular comment, which was apparently removed by PB because it hurt their feelings and they must have deemed it false information. That's Funny!
The next post to @Gristle: was pointing out in a joking manner...."ok ill ask Remy not to do that again, that he should post PB first lol. I don't know how it works but maybe Outside has some kinda of evaluation before accepting any content. thus cannot be posted until it is within their guideline of, quote-(SAFE!)" @remymetailler then chimed in with stating the reasons why they are late with the post and i responded..."Right and what I said" in my previous post. Which was..."I don't know how it works but maybe Outside has some kinda of evaluation before accepting any content. thus cannot be posted until it is within their guideline of, quote-(SAFE!)",
I don't even know why you took up such a hostility for anything of which i said here except that you must be a complete Nimwit and cannot read within the context of what is actually written. It's people like yourself that live in a false reality and distort things others are actually saying trying to justify your own folly of illiteracy and complete moronism. Anybody that down voted my response to Remy clearly missed it and thought i was being a dick to Remy which I was defiently not even remotely doing. If that's what triggered you You can kiss my ASS! Go ride your f*cking bike and stop comparing your Apples to my Oranges, MF!!!
@therealnobody: Apparently you came in late to the thread and missed the original post that PB apparently removed, that had everyone up-voting except one person if i remember right. Notice where i said "comment reply" to @fabwizard, suggesting my first reply to him got redirected to regular comment post pointing out to him so he would later read that comment.
This same thing happened earlier in another article where i was one of the first comments again and pointed out that the video of Tracy Hannah was poorly cropped and terrible tracking....everyone was upvoting that comment until the editor fixed the issue with the video and commented he had done so to me later on, Those that chimed in well after that seen the first comment and thought i was outta place in whati said. but the first twodozen people knew WTF actually happened.
@likeittacky: Hi, the comment wasn't removed - we don't really do that, although people often claim we do. The comment is still on this thread, even if it's below the threshold. It was a valid comment though - we do follow a structure that revolves around getting things consistent rather than always being the first.
It's not my place to say but I think we should all just take five and remember how good our shared passion is - bikes. Not everything benefits from being adversarial, and I think we would all be a little happier if we gave each other the benefit of the doubt sometimes. For the record, we're always stoked to receive Remy's posts but as he said it just needs to be scheduled to stop an avalanche of content one day and then a dribble the next.
@henryquinney: Thanks Henry for saying this. I mistakingly said the post was removed but it was not in it's respective place in this thread. Somehow it got redirected from being a reply comment to another person, which then got shuffled into it's own category. I completely see what happened but others don't and for that they went into defense mode calling me out. I know where i stand and i apologies for getting rifled up over this. Hoping everyone has a Merry Christmas!
@Dogl0rd: I guess because I have no interest in old fashioned pedal bikes anymore. I'm never going to buy one, so I have no desire to watch someone ride one.
Stop complaining man. Why should we get to see it right away? The content is not getting stale after a few days. Go follow Remy on Insta or YT, or check out your bro’s at Vital if you want the hottest drop. Some of us have a life and a job and are perfectly happy to navigate through just one website for our daily mountainbike fix.
@marin0: Guys this was not a complaint it was a situation where a post got taken down and that comment is a response stating a fact to @fabwizard but was redirected to regular comments. Im sorry not trying to gain any fans or cookie points but i'm trying to bring clarity to the picture as it originally happened. If you go back and read my lengthy explanation you can clearly see. I didn't discover this till just moments ago that PB removed the original text,
@likeittacky: We didn't remove it. Sometimes browsers refresh from the cache - but that's not something we can control. We very rarely remove comments, and only do so if they violate the community guidelines, which yours did not. If you want to talk about bias, maybe you could also address your own that we're some galactic empire of shithousery because we're really not, and how you come across on the internet isn't really something any of us care too much about, let alone would try and get involved in.
@henryquinney: There are occasional things that can be shitty on here for sure but nothing to a degree this idea you have is what i think. Believe me, i wouldn't use the real estate here if that were the case. Who cares if people completely disagree or post something of nature that is not in harmony with what the PB community throng are being feed, nor what others deem acceptable within the views of their contextual misinterpretations of someones post... which happens frequently here.
Yourself if anyone completely identifies with this sentiment, as i have seen the barriers you have had before you that expressed itself earlier on being overly articulate perfectionist and methodical in speech, amongst your counterparts in the PB arena, where simple minds were at odds with that. So shedding the black sheep wool is what you did to conform. This is why i will be self employed and independent not taking shit from anyone that cant keep order in their own life.
I have a young husky I’m starting to work with

Thanks all for posting - great video, as ever.
Ed Spratt removes comments all the time BTW.
"Two days ago uploded on YT. Although PB/Outside is always way late on getting vids up. Vital leads the race #1, on posting content usually."
Funny they removed that, isn't it? PB and their shenanigans with biased editors what a joke! LMAO!

But Remy Métailler is an elite/racer with a youtube channel, subtle difference.
