Final Results: EWS Whistler 2019
Stage 1 tho. Sweet Jesus, 20 minutes for the worlds top boys. At least 30 for me then, and that's not including the 2 stops minimum I'd have to make just so I didn't crumple from exhaustion onto my frame near the end.

Video: Danny Hart on Growing Up Racing DH, Mullet Bikes & More
Bunch of moaning minnies in here. I saw 2 guys who have dedicated their lives to mountain biking just talking for a bit. Listened and watched on a iPad mini 2 and could hear it all perfectly with no off-putting sound issues. I watched about 25 mins of it in 5 to 10 minute blocks and listened to the rest as I went around the house getting stuff done. Quite enjoyed it.

@Herb1234: I always thought the same about Peaty in his heyday. Used to watch his race runs and think he'd had a mechanical and was just cruising but then he'd get to the finish line and had smoked everyone.

Video: Yoann Barelli's EWS Madeira Race Runs with Commentary
It was more him thinking out loud about what he was doing, rather than the commentary we have become used to, but I still loved it. What a sound lad he is.

Video: Ben Deakin Shows How to Qualify for Megavalanche 2018
@IllestT: it's my truth mate. I was row 6 and in front of me guys got tangled up with everyone to the side shooting past. I looked back after the first corner and there was about 10 guys behind me. Based on my finishing position I overtook approx 70 riders. I'm also 40 years old. Congratulations on your run and hope you had a good one today. I'm in amateurs tomorrow and can't wait.

Video: Ben Deakin Shows How to Qualify for Megavalanche 2018
Out here now for the 2nd time, (1st one was 7 years ago). A great event and I'm thoroughly enjoying it but unless you are super human then the only way to qualify is by getting a priority grid position. I was in the second to last row and was still overtaking way slower guys at the finish line. Went backwards to begin with due to guys getting tangled in front of me but still finished 37 places ahead of where I started so pretty happy with that. It's by no means a level playing field unless you get priority grid position. Still a freaking awesome event to do tho.

Devinci Announces All-New Troy
WTF, super boost, kiss ma hairy arse. I'm probably not alone in this and it's probably the opposite of what the industry is trying to achieve, but I buy a lot less stuff because of these new 'standards'. Want a new fork, but it's going to mean a new hub and wheel build, so out of laziness and budget limitation I just won't buy the fork.
