Oh nice, I'll follow this one tonight. I'm late 40s and only started stretching meaningfully this year, using YouTube videos to learn what to do for much of the body. I was embarrassingly inflexible when I started, but the improvement has been quick and my body feels so much better for it.

At 48 years old and only able to MTB once a week, I've recently started running 5k twice a week on our treadmill at home to keep my fitness as I age. I've not intentionally ran since I was in high school. It sucked then, can confirm it still sucks now.

Oak Components Levers Claim Increased Power for Hope Tech 4 V4 Brakes
@chrismac70: one of my 2024 code rsc came pre-jammed from the factory, but I wasn't going to let that ruin my first ride, so I grabbed a pair of small vice grips and voilà, I had 2nd hand looking brakes before I had even used them. Although to be fair the brakes did work well for a while, but as the long term reviews always say, they lasted about a year before I then had to start massaging pistons and generally dicking around with them every couple of rides to keep them working.

Opinion: Handlebar Width is the Most Overlooked Element of Mountain Bike Fit
I'm as tall as I am, my shoulder width and arm length are yes, 800mm is too wide, recently decided to try moving down a bit from the 780 I've been running for years and can confirm that 770 is also fine, I have a feeling 760 will be too small, which I will find out soon as I plan to buy new bars so will do some experimenting with the old bars before I remove them
