@Blownoutrides: One would be surprised if WC DH bikes were not the ideal weight for descending...
I guess with lightweight eBikes, the point is that fitting a 38 and DH tyres at the expense of weight makes them descend a lot better than trying to get to that optimal weight with flimsy components. So there probably is truth in the planted eBikes feel, but that's not to say they wouldn't feel better if they went on a diet but still kept the gravity components.

Looks like it has more rear travel... would like the eBike version!
Notice that due to having to accommodate a fat battery, the steering lock is limited, so the fork bumpers have been rotated. Running at risk if he has a crash, but then Forbidden will likely sort him a new front triangle. This (steering lock) is the main problem with dual crown certified eBikes.

I'm not sure we need more capacity, I'd take actual fast charging, not pretend fast charging but10-15min. Would need active cooling though... that said Makita manage it with their drill batteries.
Then you could have a small battery and top up fast.
