Large Transition Scout (Custom Build) PRICE DROP

$2500 CAD
Rear brake lever was leaking and has just been replaced with Shimano Zee lever. $2200 if its gone this weekend. Large 2015 Transition Scout in the "Limeade" colour (although most people call it yellow...). This bike has been fantastic for me on the Shore, Squamish and Victoria but I'm ready to upgrade to something bigger. I'm the original owner (purchased new in Feb 2015) and a fairly competent home mechanic so I've kept up with all the service and the bike is in great condition mechanically. The bike has seen lots of riding its first year and over the last two months but didn't get used very much from September 2016 to April of this year while I was attending UVic Custom build includes: 150mm Rockshox Pike (frame is traditionally used with 140mm up front so this helps speed up the descents) Rockshox Monarch Deluxe; 125mm of rear travel Shimano XT brakes; 180/160mm rotors Shimano XT 10 speed drivetrain; upgraded with 34t Chromag chainring and the OneUp hanger to fit a 11-42t cassette Rockshox Reverb Stealth seatpost; left handed hydraulic thumb lever Stans Flow rims on Hope Pro 2 hubs Chromag cockpit and seat with ODI locker grips Hope headset and bottom bracket upgrades in limited edition Hope Green colourway Minion DHF/DHR2 tires basically brand new (2 weeks of use so far); front set up tubeless and rear with a tube Frame pivots were serviced at Christmas and linkage still runs like new. The suspension was last serviced at the end of 2018, the Reverb at the start of 2018. Drivetrain was replaced at the start of this season with brand new chain/cassette/chainring. Frame paint is in excellent condition for the most part due to ridewrap style protection. Brakes will be bled and pads replaced (as needed) before I sell. Bottle cage and pedals (XT trail clipless or shitty flats) included. Minor scuffs from normal wear throughout the bike but there's a few worth mentioning explicitly: Paint scuff (pictured) on the side of the downtube; barely noticeable if you aren't looking for it. Scratch (pictured) on the top of the fork stanchion, no effect on performance of the fork but definitely noticeable. Black paint on the fork crowns is wearing away from using a North Shore rack. RHS clipless pedal has a bent frame but the clipless part still functions normally. All of this is cosmetic damage and doesn't affect the performance or integrity of the bike. Put your CERB money to good use and give this bike a new home!

Continental Road Tires

$25 CAD
Tire 1: Brand new Continental Ultra Sport in the 700x28c size with the PureGRIP compound and wire bead. This tire is brand new and has never been ridden on; I mounted it once and found out that it didn't fit my frame so went down to 25's. Tire 2: Used Continental Gatorskin also 700x28c and wire bead. I've put around 1000km on this tire since I got it last year so it's not new but tread surface is still in good condition and the sidewalls are in excellent condition, should have lots of life left. $25 per tire or $40 for both. Local pickup in Deep Cove or I can drop off anywhere in North Van or Dunbar area.

Pinkbike Poll: Can Today's Mid-Travel Trail Bike Be Significantly Improved?
New hub standards!!! Only way to improve the bicycle!!!! (Also maybe some new BB standards, headtube standards and why not throw in a new seat-post standard just for good measure)
