Yorkshire born n bred and started riding in 1996, covering most disciplines but enjoyed downhill mostly. Work and family responsibilities have pushed riding further into the the background but that doesn't mean I'm a slouch skill wise. Fitness is intermittent and I have no intention of going electric anytime soon.

@Saucycheese: yeah I know.... It'd be clear for all to see that the lid is a write off. Cheese sauce is a good option also.

They could always position tomato sauce sachets between the outer shell and the inner hard foam shell.... Why has no one done this already? Bbq, mayo and other flavoured sachets are also available.

[UPDATED] Elite Final Results & Overall Standings from the Les Gets DH World Cup 2024
@beermtb: true. Ele was committed and calculated and deserved it. The other racers all rode well on that track. It looks as slippery as as a politician when backed up into a corner, hopefully no big injuries for all. Very entertaining race.

Video: Flat Pedals Win Medals - But Are They Only Meant for Downhill?
@billreilly: Hi Bill. In short : bikes equipped with Clips have won more races, therefore typically achieve the fastest time, but SPEED and fastest time are different. To answer your question accurately and assuming it's regarding dh racing, I would require all data of speed recording at points for all races, along with the pedal type of the logged speed value. This would produce a highest speed value for your question. If your question has no constraints on the discipline, a quick Google seatch of "worlds fastest mountain biker" should be suffice. Re Sam, You did not state on your original comment on any time / date constraints for an answer. Sam used flat pedals on his bikes and dominated for years by being the fasted. Chris also won using flats up the road at Fort bill if I recall. Sam also won quite a few enduro rounds, on flats. Please consider to give more detail to the question you ask next time if you want accuracy in responses. CLIPS for SPEED, now FLATS for SPEED, then Apologies for the lack of reference for other notable riders who have won races on flats / potentially been the fastest (SPEED) on the day. It's all fun.
