WTB Overhauls Their Fit Right Saddle System
@W3fty: Holy moly this is the tip of the year right here. Thank you for your service on this one. I just did the same, and look at that, I don't have to wade through stuff I am not interested in!

Pinkbike Poll: If You Had $8,000 Today To Spend on Biking, What Are You Doing?
Got my dream MTB last year, I would probably build out a gravel rig and stop doing those trips on the fatbike. As fun as passing people on the fatty is, efficiency may be better for where I currently ride.

7 Early Season Deals That Are Actually Decent
My LBS closed in December. Last year was finally the year I was able to (and did) really support them with purchases as well. I do have not as local, privately owned stores to support, but the close one closing does suck.

New Jersey E-Bike Riders Will Require Licence, Registration & Insurance Under Newly Signed Law
@fred-frod: I concur. Anyone who thinks 750W is a reasonable power level needs to find a bike with a power meter and see what 750W actually is on a bike. I would bet that more than half can't get there at all.

Bike Check: Payson McElveen's Aero-Modified Allied BC40 for New Zealand's 3 Rideable Great Tracks
I have a Varia taillight on my gravel/road rig. It's killer for spotting cars way before they see you.

Review: Salsa Blackthorn 125 - A Clever Design with Quirky Handling
I rented one of these this fall for a day in the red dirt of Cuyuna. I did notice the ease of the front to come up, but outside of that I thought it was a great bike for the MN terrain. I will agree with the stiffness comments in the article, but I didn't realize it when I was riding the bike. I wanted to get a leg over a few different bikes before I purchased a different rig, and this was the first of my samples. I was coming from a rigid fat bike and a 2004 Liquid. All of that being said, I ended up buying a Fuel EX (gen 6). It just rode better to me in the stuff I ride. Riding the trek made me realize what supple was.

32-inch Wheels Will Be Permitted in UCI XC Racing in 2026
It wasn't that long ago that the general consensus was that by the time you got a DH tire on a 29" wheel, you would need to register it as a carnival attraction. Now that is the norm. I wouldn't dismiss 32" at this point.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Change Tires For Winter Riding?
@mashrv1: We haven't had good fatbike winters here in southern MN. I had to resort to using my fatty as a road/gravel rig!

Check Out: A 6 Kg Belt-Drive Bike, Cushy Bike Trailer, Magnetic Goggles, Fall Lights, Gloves & Pants
Wrangler Outdoor All Terrain cargo pants. $28.98 at the local big box store. Gave them a test ride today for fall conditions. Excellent at upper 40's (°F) overcast, windy riding. Would buy again.
