Video: Gee Atherton Shares Footage of the Biggest Crash of his Career
Pinbike: "Someone was hurt" Nobody: "Can we have a repeated, pointless political discussion about insurance, maybe laced with some propaganda?" Wtf. When will folks get bored having the same discussion over and over?

Gravaa's New Wheels Will Allow Tire Pressure Adjustments While Riding
@R-M-R: Actually (s)he is wrong. Reductionist generalizations are almost always wrong when they hit some limit. Lower pressure sucks when you are riding on the rim, and doesn't help traction at all. The right way to present technical information is well-rounded (pun intended, baby!)

Gravaa's New Wheels Will Allow Tire Pressure Adjustments While Riding
@pixelguru: (1) I used to live in Wilmington, so we are brethren (although I prefer brandywine). (2) That was inspiring stuff. Great attitude, man!

Video: Neko Mulally Tests Tires with Kenda
@4thflowkage: I've definitely destroyed a brand new maxxis at Mt Penn, and you are correct on the Mullallys being from somewhere in/around Reading.

First Look: Schwalbe’s New, More Aggressive Hans Dampf - Garda Trentino 2018
Suggest you first try a Kenda Nevegal so you don't skip too many historical tire trends. ????

I also destroy EXO casings on NE rocky trails. My issue with moving to DD is that at >1000g per tire there are a lot of choices. It used to be a selling point that EXO was light and tough and not many tires in the same weight range could measure up (not tough enough, apparently)... But if you are willing to run a DD or "enduro" casing then Maxxis is definitely not the only game in town, and you get reasonable choices in the same class from Michelin, Conti, etc, with similar weight.

Pivot Switchblade: Now Available in Aluminum - Video
Kudos to them for dropping the Al version. AGREED, a frame only option would be fantastic. I think we need to put a petition together and call our senators.
