Pinkbike Poll: If You Had $8,000 Today To Spend on Biking, What Are You Doing?
@gossman: Perhaps they've realized that the riding is the fun part, not the spending. Get some perspective.

Shimano Patent Reveals a Co-Axial Brake Mount
The entire point of this is to capture OEM sales through temporarily limited compatibility. By the time the other brand catches up, they'll change things again. If the point was to benefit bikes or consumers, SRAM and Shimano would work together to find the best solution. This is exactly why UDH was created. It standardized hangers so consumers would accept it, but it also differentiated SRAM on paper, because their rear derailleurs were the only ones that could mount directly to the frame.

Review: Fox Union All Weather Flat Shoes - For the Wettest Days
Would be great for commuting if they were a little bit cheaper and had standard laces or something more durable than BOA. The few shoes I had with it couldn't take the daily On/Off cycles, and the cable would fail on a regular basis. Just give me some waterproof hiking boots with a 510 sole and a gaiter!

Öhlins USA Moves Mountain Bike Sales to Distributor-Only Model
Call me skeptical until they open up parts access, and any technical information related to dampers. Being slightly better than DT Swiss with regards to manuals, isn't saying much. Not sharing service manuals is a surefire way to have your products neglected or serviced improperly.

Review: OneUp V3 Dropper Post - Still the One to Beat
@nnowak: Where I am, oily items can't go in consumer recycling, and it's unclear where they end up. Some items end up in landfill, while others are treated as hazardous waste, which might be landfill anyways. Saying something is recyclable because the materials are, doesn't mean infrastructure supports it.

Review: OneUp V3 Dropper Post - Still the One to Beat
Dropper posts with disposable cartridges are lame, regardless of features. It's not a full rebuild if the cartridge goes in a landfill.

Bike Check: Intend BC Founder Cornelius Kapfinger's Euro-Tastic Last Tarvo
Short answer...maybe a very slight improvement, but only because it's an inverted fork. On a typical fork, the teflon likely won't stay in suspension(heh). The supergliss oils are so good there's not much else to gain.
