Poll: How Do You Actually Feel About Cable Routing?
A lot of hand wringing about cable routing. I get it, I have my preferences too but in the meantime we are still using inferior road bike presta valves in our mountain bikes and nobody is saying a word. Where is the outrage!

Pinkbike Poll: Who is the Red Bull Rampage Pinkbike's Choice Winner?
@hypa: I'm not familiar with his personality but I think amplitude is one of the judging criteria so I would guess he's not the only judge who took that into account. I thought Andreu's run was rad but the judges probably have some experience and perspective that we don't get watching it from home.

Pinkbike Poll: Who is the Red Bull Rampage Pinkbike's Choice Winner?
There's a screenshot over on Vital of Berrecloch responding to that question and his response was that Andreu didn't do any drops over 20'.

Contest Closed: Win It Wednesday - Enter to Win an X-Fusion Slant HLR Fork
Seems to be a lot of negative responses to this fork on here. Curious why? One of my kids has it on his dj and it's been holding up well. It's not much heavier than a Pike and quite a bit lighter than a Bomber DJ or Circus Expert. Is it just because it's not a Fox or RS and people are hung up on that or is there some flaw I haven't heard about?

Video: Top 3 Men's & Women's Winning Runs from Proving Grounds 2022
The rest of Semenuk's run at Rampage was pretty rad, the on/off drop thing looked pretty gnarly and technical to me and the drop he tailwhipped off was pretty huge, as were some of the other drops he tricked. It's not like he was just doing those tricks on the easy jumps at the bottom. Likewise with Reider on this event, the rest of his run had some big spins and flips. I'm actually not a big fan of barspins and tailwhips but I think a lot of people downplayed the difficulty of other elements of these guys runs just because they mixed in bmx/slope tricks.

Review: The Bluegrass Legit Carbon Helmet Is, Well, Legit
I was thinking the same thing. I have a Fly Werx Carbon helmet, with MIPS, from five years ago or so and it's only around 950 grams. It appears construction wise to be as protective as any other DH helmet I've looked at or worn. For me the lighter helmet is noticeable, less head bobble, and less neck fatigue. I've also heard a heavier helmet can increase the velocity of your head in crashes, not sure if that's proven or not. Either way for $500+ I would want a helmet to be under 1000 grams.

Yes, Electric Dirt Jump Bikes Actually Exist
@valrock: if you don't have decent dirt jumps there's some good options. Bust out the shovels and get to digging or buy a different kind of bike that's better suited to your local spots. Even with an electric motor you need decently groomed terrain for a dj so might as well just build decent jumps.
