Opinion: Your Next Bike Will Be Steeper

Not if you have your bars rolled to match your HA, but if they are more vertical then yes, slightly different (more) than the riser number. Under stem spacers increase stack directly. Both spacers and risers reduce reach. If you roll bars fwd to re-increase reach you throw off the stem/fork offset relationship. Someone feel free to correct this.

Pinkbike Poll: What's The Least Awful Word That Means 'Not An E-Bike'?

Agreed. Especially in the context of the question posed... For example: "When the battery goes into limp mode, it almost feels like I'm riding a [...]" An E-biker should have to say "real bike" in this instance.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: Pinkbike Editors' Favorite Clipless Shoes

Velcro is king. Though not welcome to this party, Specialized Recon 1.0 is the best ever. I'd consider skate style shoe if they made an all velcro. Lose a buckle (boa) on a rock or get laced in the cranks once and you'll turn.

Pinkbike Poll: What Are Your Must-Have Features On a New Mountain Bike?

I vote hate neither. Former threaded BB die hard I have converted thanks to @bbinfinite. Well, I guess they're not on here... but worth a check if press fit is the only thing holding you back from a frame. And I managed to install mine with the hardware store special: threaded rod, two nuts, and fender washers. It's amazing.
