UPDATE: VHS Founder Alleges Corporate "Sabotage" in RideWrap & Dyedbro Dispute
I agree. My strategy has always been:
- some kind of downtube protection, usually the all mountain style stick on stuff cuz it is easy to put on. makes it easier to clean dirt off the downtube
- maybe some tape on the chain/seat stays if i find my heel rubbing a lot
otherwise who cares, i don't think a tiny bit of tape is going to save my frame from actual damage. and i don't really care if some paint gets scratched

Spotted: Yeti's New 6-Bar Enduro Bike
There's a limit to how high you can reasonable go, and it frankly looks goofy to have 30mm of spacers and a 50mm rise bar.
How often do you see people with slammed stems and a low rise bar on an enduro bike? basically never. Which tells me they are making them too short for the general population.

@schu2470: i can only speak for myself, but i've personally had less creaking issues with press in cup headsets.
With an integrated headset the bearing goes right in the frame, instead of pressing cups into the frame.
So, if the headset surface get mangled somehow on an integrated headset you have a frame issue. If the headset surface gets mangled in the cups you can just replace the cups.
And then with press in cups you also have the option of running reach adjust or angle adjust headsets (ex works components). This is more niche, but it is nice to have for people that use them.

Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
@shredddr: i don't think so, i'm not aware of anyone but forbidden going all in on proportional CS. it has become common to vary them per size, RAAW and Frameworks bump by 5mm i think per size, but I think forbidden stands alone with how aggressive they do it.

What I want is a bike like this but as a 150/160 bike. Carbon, hella long CS, non high pivot.
