Review: The EXT Vaia USD Fork is Extra Adjustable, But Lacks Consistency
I also have a set of Trickstuff Maximas that I've had since they launched them many years ago and I love them over all other brakes, but according to the pinkbike review they are very similar to this EXT, fiddly and unreliable and pretty underwhelming. I love reading these reviews though but I dont really base my purchases off them.

@bookieboy100: I switched my Fox 40 grip2 for mine last summer. Liked the Fox but like the Vaia more! Havent tried it against a grip x2 though... Maybe I got one of the good ones :)

Ease of cleaning the bike i suppose... Love the bike but dont see the point of the fairing, except for when running data aquisition to protect that, but not during the race.

First Ride: The 2026 Santa Cruz Tallboy Has Been Fully Reinvented, But Remains a Joy
VPP is not why I have enjoyed the Santa Cruzes we've had in the family. It has been the amazing solid build quality and great support. Santa Cruz will still be #1 on my list even with different suspension designs. I would not mind every company having the same suspension layout if it is the best for the job.

Review: Trickstuff's Maxima Brakes Are Fancy and Finicky
I guess I'll add my agreement with all the other commenters that have Maximas. Apart from the clamps breaking years ago (got new express shipped and some goodies from Trickstuff) they have been perfect. Love that you can re-use fittings. Had mine since the release and they have been on many bikes. Using putoline oil right now with no issues, should be the same as any other mineral oil brake, manufacturer say you have to use their oil but all work fine. Will go on every bike I have in the future as well unless some groundbreaking new thing comes along..
