Ok - so with any dirt trail that is not hard pack, is the rolling resistance really that different? Honest question here cause lately, the best tires for me are the soft super damped Enduro or better casing. They cover everything for me and rolling does not seem at all impacted....except riding on asphalt when I have to. The only down side is poor wear rates as I can go thru a tire a month on the rear, especially if racing or lift access.

@Dogl0rd: Considering just about every normal MTB ride is a 1 or 2 stage "Enduro" ride, your comment seems to indicate you ride YouTube vs a an actual bike. The original draw to this variant was exactly due to the connection of the common man/women and child riding their bikes on trails and has nothing to do with "content".

Hosting Enduro style racing is a huge effort and easily underappreciated. Everything from trail setting, clearing, marking, monitoring and electronic set up is ok for one or two stages, but 5 or more over a few days takes a pretty dedicated army. The CES (California Enduro Series) just ended a nearly 15 year run after multiple (Private Equity takeover) resorts bowed out keeping trails open for any riding in '27. Traveling, lodging, logistics, adding multiple new venues, etc., makes this very complex and costly for organizers and riders. EBikes have changed the equation as well....the fundamental idea of putting in effort has changed and I think there will be the same relative % shift of added EBike riders vs reduced Enduro racers or wannabe's like myself. I hate to say it, but I kind of think this will continue to soften.

Have always hated PE with a passion, BUT the companies (usually new CEO) that sell are half the problem.

Nice review...especially the comparisons that I cannot afford to do nor the skill. And here even comparing across brands - thank you! I love the Cannibals but they wear terribly as a rear tire. How is the real world wear across these new tires? I sure wish manf would compare their own products with data - real world use cases. Real rolling resistance, real wear, real loam vs hard pack recommendations front and rear.

All sports mind you....think about the folks like Steph Curry or Magic Johnson, playing against the top 0.1% of the world and dusting most nearly everyone on every shot (whether it is 3ptr or dribbling wicked moves thru to an "easy" layup). Loic, Asa, Gwinner have that level up mode....basically un imaginable greatness.

@Cyberhatter: I agree that they should have closed when things were that bad, but I think they are saying, "yeah it sucked and we know it and we are going to redo it". That is a whole lot different then saying, "everything is great here, dont worry about the reviews in the past, just come on up!", Who the hell knows what is really going to happen until they do implement something and they are held accountable, i.e., go up and ride when they finish, and then comment. I am hopeful and look forward to something new and more 'modern'. In fact, they should even give discounts to people who bought passes during those bad years and also have teaser passes when they open to get the momentum....now that would be what's called accountable.

Good to see her smiling - I know it doesnt mean all is ok, but made me smile a little in relief. Heal Up with hoping for no long lasting issues. And back to the $ discussion...RBR has the same story every year. They "invite" a bunch of riders to risk their lives and yet turn the other way when something bad happens. At least provide access to full insurance to cover all costs under the RB or UCI org umbrella for each entrant; it is not that hard to do. They pay for the Helo's and medics for every race...cuz why? And the winning purse...does not really even pay for travel ....let that sink in.
