Review: Norco's New Sight VLT TQ - High-Pivot Meets Mid-Power
Id say the difference is that with an SL its harder to be lazy up the climbs, you really need to spin to get it to feel right. So it does suit someone a little fitter. With a full power you can just put it in boost or high and motor up climbs still feeling very fresh at the top. So if you ride once a week it's probably a better option. Decending the full power can feel like it pushes into corners more and get awat from you a bit on descents, there a lot of momentum. The lighter SL bits feel a bit more naturally but I still noticed it feels more llke and ebike than a normal bike. If your friends have a full power, get a full power unless you are super fit.

First Ride: Polygon's $3,299 Collosus N9
@mininhi: I think the shock gets a bad wrap. The stiff junction of the trunion along with yokes and flexy rear ends transmit a lot of lateral force into the shocks, causing a lot of these issues. It looks like polygon with the braced swing arm and spherical bearings should help reduce a lot of these forces put on the shock.

First Ride: The 2020 Norco Sight Has an All-Mountain Focus
Taken one for a quick spin and noticed it blew through its travel pretty easily and we were running around 26% sag and 2 or 3 volume spacers (cant remember). A meg neg would help a bit but I'm only 83kg so cant imagine it would work well with a heavier rider. Not a fan of high leverage ratios.
